Nah. They don't need a driver's license to vote in NM, or any form of ID. Just show up, say in your best Spanish that you are an American citizen, sign an affidavit that you are Juan Hernandez and you are given a ballot. Governor opposed a picture ID requirement last session. Hell, you can't buy a pack of cigarettes or a six-pack of the "beer-of-the-week" without a picture ID. Why should voting be any different.

"And now a word from our Sponsors of Free Speech". Thanks, Tonk. Cindy's son gave HIS life so his mother could freely trash our country. Saddness and anger here, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Clinton's actions of late are especially suspect. His cya stuff about his obsession with OBL was probably prompted to counter what he knew wold be coming about Able Danger.
His buddy-buddy relationship with Bush 41 is likely intended to curry good favor with the family and take of advantage of 43's good nature.

Allen is learning. He has my support for President. Those wishing to contribute to his campaign can send contributions to ...Yawn.
IMO, they'd be better sending them to FR.

NM has a program whereby if you cancel your insurance it is reported to the MVD automatically so that if stopped by LEO, the police know it immediately. I know the system works because when I sold my old P/U and cancelled the insurance (but didn't turn in the plate) I got a letter a few weeks later saying that if I didn't show proof I'd be in violation of the law. Of course, they don't come to the door to physically remove the license.

Did you see him (Dees) on F&F this morning? The weekend panel was questioning him fairly good about the matter, and he was faking a Texas drawl in his long drawn out BS explanations why the illegals now own the 75 acres in Texas/Arizona. Then with the camera directly on him, he freaking picked his nose. It was so gross, it was hurl time.

On Stephanopolis, he downplayed that and said that she's been saying outrageous things against the Pres. and there's no way he should meet her now.

I didn't watch any show but Fox, but no mention of Karl Rove, either.

I'm glad to hear that but I question why he made the statements at all. As I wrote earlier, I knew of Cindy Sheehan's outrageous comments weeks ago. FR had links up to speeches and news articles about her immediately. Why didn't Allen know about her background too. If someone like me, a 40 something mom in Alpharetta GA can use google to get the info on her why can't a powerful Senator and his staff.

"Hagel sounds like a Dem operative..."
I think he is. I saw his quagmire schtick on Stephanopolis and few hours later I was listening to a local music station who had ABC news at the top of the hour. They had two or three quotes from Republican Senator Chuck Hagel on withdrawal and Vietnam from that show and then played up the four year preparation for Iraq. They didn't bother to quote Sen. Allen who was on the same show and said that the four year deal was just worst case scenario plannning.

In order for Lott to get any MSM time he had to be negative and critical of President Bush and be positive while speaking of clinton. I have read that Lott said nothing negative regarding clinton --- if so, then that says more to me of the person Lott is. Actually just confirms my opinion

Don't get me wrong...I'm not a big Allen fan, as I don't even know that much about him. I just wanted to be fair to him. And believe me, sitting next to Hagel, he definitely seemed like a "good guy." :-)
That being said, I agree with you. And I was steamed when I first heard about him saying it.
As to your question, I don't know, but I tend to think a lot of those guys probably rely on the commie media for a lot of their info.

In CA. State Farm is hooked up to the DMV. So they know if you have insurance and they would know if you canceled it. Whether this applies to your drivers license I do not know.

" Allen is running to be Commander & Chief but threw public support behind a woman who is on tape saying this country isn't worth dying for.
I have seen transcripts of that speech almost two weeks ago. If little ole me can know about her speeches so can a powerful Senator with a full time staff.
If Allen's defense is he didn't know about her rants then he is unprepared to be President. My guess is that he knew but wanted his name out there for the publicity."
George Allen was a guest on the Nightline town hall meeting in January-with Cindy Sheehan.
Her wish that the Bush daughters should go to Iraq and die- was made in April.
No excuses for not knowing how demonic this woman is.

Not in Co. anyway. The insurance connection to DMV is only related to a vehicle, no driver information is connected. That's the way it is in NM and I have first hand experience that it works.

About thirty five minutes ago I was listening to Laurie Dhue as background from a room away and heard a hatefully familiar radical leftist voice. I said to myself that sounds like that 90 year old has been lefty Marvin Kalb talking BS about Karl Rove. It was, and he blustered about violation of this and that, leaking this and that and felonies, and grand juries and prison etc etc. I hate it that that scum was hired by Fox. If you try to watch it he is so old and his skin sags so bad that it makes his face look like that commercial for Dristan where they have a guy with a cold that is all nose. His nose is all that you see. He seemed to be on for at least five minutes and Laurie sounded uncomfortable talking to him. He has been on this mantra for weeks now,and nobody else is even talking about it.
