Some here are proposing just getting an identity card from the Dept. of Motor Vehicles. I'm sure the illegals will use this to vote and drive. They drive here all the time without a license anyway.

Excellent post rockrr.
We have to be a lot more pragmatic when it comes to national elections. Much of the electorate is ill or un-informed about politics and Nat., Security and most everything a president has to deal with. That(dumb voters) is the attention prospective candidates have to get, they already have ours. How many votes did bubba get from those who thought he really did feel their pain.
We may not get the candidate we hope for in 08, he or she may look more like Rudy than Ronald Reagan. But we will still have the same choice, our guy or the highway.Sad but true.

Liberals think that parents should have no control over a 13-year-old girl getting an abortion, but the same parents should be able to prevent that same girl from joining the military when she is a 19-year-old woman. That may be true but it has nothing to do with what Graham was talking about. He was talking about women in Iraq and the new Constitution. He doesn't want them living under Islamic law as per Saudi, Iran, Taliban etc. Liberals and conservatives agree on that.

Good, no challenger, really, yet, but approval ratings are high
Heres something interesting
In a survey of 175 Washington insiders conducted by National Journal's "The Hotline" and released April 29, 2005, Allen was the frontrunner for the Republican nomination for the 2008 Presidential election.

I thing the rats are smart enough to stay away from Rummy. He's not a rollover kind of guy. He fights back and every time he does the rats come out looking even dumber than before. Indeed he does

Quite right... I think the only Republicans who could be nominated that would give me pause in '08 would be McCain (and it's debatable whether he could get the nom). I have absolutely no respect for that man as a politician.

McCain's record is more conservative then most would think, but he is such a loose cannon. I don't trust him.

I think Able Danger will become a big story in September. Patience....it will get the visibility it deserves in due time.No it won't.
Say "hi" to Shirley for me.
;-)
The Dem./socialists media loved and promoted 'The Pentagon Papers', 'Watergate', etc. They still basically rule public opinion. Those who believe the alternative opinion makers (bloggers, talk radio, etc.) have taken over the majority of influence over public opinion are nuts, delusional, or just innocently overly hopeful.
Sorry, I'm in no mood to be gentle about this. 'Able Danger' and 'Gorelick's Wall' are too important and are being covered up, and they will continue to be covered up!

Excellent post.
What does it say about a country's leaders when more resources are diverted to illegals than to legal citizens, borders on craziness.

Trent Lott and Sam Donaldson apparently bought their hairpieces from the same one type-fits-all source.

If that's a hairpiece that Lott wears, then some of the glue has seeped into his brain.

IMHO this is very similar to all the controsvery over Bill Frist "changing his mind" on stem cell research from what I have seen or read he has not changed his mind about it just that he now believes that the research should continue to be government funded.
