Allen kinda reminds me of Lindsey Graham. We all thought he and Lindsey were Senate Rock Stars until they need to pander to the left a bit.

You can get a driver's license without owning a car.Out here (Cal) the first time you go to get a license, you have to take a road test as well as a written test. The car you take the road test in is inspected (tires, etc. for safety) and you have to show proof of insurance for that vehicle.
One can get insurance for proof, take the test, and then cancel the insurance. (which is what will happen)

Or you can take the test in someone elses car as long as it is properly registered and insured.

Allen was being questioned this morning by Stefanopolus (well interrupted a lot by Steffy!) and was asked about his comments on Sheehan, Steffy asked if he still thought President Bush was right not to meet with her. Allen said (now I'm paraphrasing from memory which is bad) that it probably was right given that now circumstances are different. I don't recall that Steffy gave him a chance to expand on that but it's certainly enough for me.

Krugman is going to be on Steffie's panel. I wonder if he will carry on about the awful Republican scandal over the worker's compensation fund as he did in the NYT...the only problem being that they are all dems. Bwahahah. Maybe I will actually see the egg on his face.

The Bloviater had remarks in his talking points this last week about Cindy Sheehans ties to those orgs
NO WAY???? FINALLY he gets something right. Pity. I find it hard to forgive his treatment of the Rathergate story but this does help.

There's no comparison between Allen and Linseed Graham.

Allen made a huge mistake pandering to Cindy Sheehan and then changing his position because he was bombarded with e-mails. Hopefully he will be more careful next time!

Or you can take the test in someone elses car as long as it is properly registered and insured.Right. The arguments for illegals getting licenses are dumb. Even Californians won't approve it, if given the chance!

It is not legal to drive a motor vehicle without liability insurance at a minimum. That is true in my state also. It hasn't stopped anyone from doing it yet, so I pay a premium for uninsured motorist coverage.

So as we suspected Senator Allen got a cheap shot question last week and he did not have all the facts! I figured, maybe he actually read my e-mail?

After the experiences I have had with dell I will never deal with them again, but still like their computers. Took 4 months to get a bill and by then the grace period for paying without excessive interest rates was up, they have no customer service at all imho.

I just got in from Mass! Did Allen get in trouble again? Snuffy is not on here yet.
Actually it sounds like Allen was man enough to backtrack on the issue. Contrasting his style with John, "ride it down in flames", McCain, I got to admit Allen is wining points with me.

I don't know Allen that well he seems to be an invisible person to most Republicans who are non-freepers. Which is why he polls in the single digits for president. Hopefully he will come out more
