It's always nice to get a new piece of information and quite commendable that you knew it to share it. But there was no mention of long grasses, or floor coverings called "rushes" in the article. You accused LJ of missing it during the course of her reading. She couldn't miss something that wasn't there in the first place.

Nope, I didn't accuse anyone of "missing" the rushed thing. I said, quite plainly, that the article stated that there were NOT bare wood floors, which the person had claimed would NOT hold fleas. That too was refuted by another poster.

The article states that the floors were covered in HERBS, which when stepped on, emitted flea repellent. This really isn't 100% true/accurate.

Look, I'm really NOT trying to be officious nor a smartypants. This is just something I happen to know about.
