his family. Besides his dau., I wouldn't doubt that
other family members way down the line will be involved
in Government work.

I think that it is Kate who is very likely to be involved as she will remember more than the 2 younger sisters and certainly the brother of their time in Washington and out on the road with their grandparents. Though of course both of their parents are involved in Goverment Departments, her mother at the State Department and her father at Homeland Security, so just as there was government/politcal influences at home with the VP's children there is with his grandchild.

I remember at the end of the campaign Lynne Cheney saying that Kate was emailing her about the election daily including a survey or an endorsement in some young people's magazine which had never got it wrong and they were backing the Bush Cheney ticket so she confidently said "we will win". There were other stories which I cannot recall which shows even at 10/11 she has an interest in politics.
