Sounds like a TIA to me sometimes referred to as mini strokes. He will probably have to take a low dosage asprin daily for the rest of his life.

The primary concern at this point from a medical standpoint is WHY the TIA occurred.
Without targeting that, the spells are very likely to continue.
Sounds like the Lord is giving him a warning shot off the port bow

Knowing one near and dear who suffered a mild stroke/TIA, some of the side effects are often underdiagnosed; including mild depression, detachment, forgetfulness, confusion, anger, fatigue, etc.
