So to summarize, you would like us to argue:

1) W's month-long "vacation" - FYI, he is not really on a vacation.

2) Enact the draft so that W's daughters are ordered to go to Iraq - VOLUTEER ARMED FORCES.

3) The fact that the President of the United States does not provide ALL the proper medical care, the proper housing, the proper wage - Our President is not Karl Marx.

And now I have one question for you, LetsHearIt, WHAT DID THE BEST PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY, BILL CLINTON, DO DURING HIS EIGHT YEARS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THOSE SAME MILLIONS YOU CLAIM TO BE FIGHTING FOR NOW?

First off you low grade MORON; all the military personnel
in Iraq and other theaters are voluntary.

Do you know what the word VOLUNTARY means?

OK, let's get this easy test out of the way:

One would think that the president of the United States holds the most stressful job ever. Isn't it wonderful that our pompous president is in such excellent condition healthwise?

It sure is. We like health presidents; why have one who isn't. Duh.

His eligible daughters aren't in Iraq protecting our country like so many others, more than 1,800 who have given their lives for a war that he started.

They're adults - over 21 - and he cannot force them into the military. Another Duh.

With a smirk on his face, he says, "We will stay the course." Who is "we?" Not him or his family. Heck no.

Ad hominem attack. Try a real argument and maybe someone will answer it.

He's on a month's vacation.

So ?

If he's so gung-ho about this war, show us some guts and send your kids to the front lines.

Already answered. Why don't Ted Kennedy's kids, John Kerry's kids, Teresa Heinz's kids, Barbara Boxer's kids, Al Franken's kids, or anyone else's kids sign up voluntarily ? Those who are in the military signed up knowing they might go to war, get shot at, and sadly, possibly die. Do you know what the word VOLUNTARY means ?

This war is not being won; the insurgents just keep on coming. And terrorism has gotten much worse since he began this senseless war.

WW II was not won in 2 years, either. Nor was the Cold War. Your point is ... that you have a short attention span ? You cannot see short-term pain for long-term gain ? We haven't had a terrorist attack in this country since 9/11/2001. That's a loss ? I guess you like to see the US hurt.

Then, too, he has no worry about health insurance. Boy, is he covered, not like the millions who have none.

Get a job and buy your own. That's what the rest of us do. Stop being a parasite on the taxpayer.

And what about the poor, the homeless and those who barely eke out a living?

What about them ? They can get jobs too. We have Social Security, SS disability, workers comp, welfare, foodstamps, and lots of other government giveaways for the lazy er, I mean the poor, as well as private charitable organizations like the Salvation Army who help the poor, homeless etc etc.

It's not his problem. Why worry? Go on vacation. Imagine a month's vacation. No wonder he's in such good condition. And while he's gone, who's minding the store? The other pompous snake?

Who's the pompous snake you're referring to ? Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton, one of them ?

I would think that if Dubya likes Texas so much, he should stay there and let one who has the total concern of our nation and its people take his place. In history, I believe this president will be judged the worst ever.

You can believe whatever you want. We don't are, especially if you've already left. Did you turn in your passport when you left so you don't give real Americans a bad name ?

Just for you.

you disappoint me, but you don't surprise me. No war is noble as far as you all are concerned. The US is guilty. This argument is tiresome, boring, and specious. Why didn't the president's daughters go? It's a volunteer force! The president didn't "send" Cindy Sheehan's son over there; he volunteered. If she is doing anything, she is sullying his memory. She is making his life worthless. She is making what he volunteered to do worthless, and you guys, you don't see this. There are sons, there are family members of elected officials in Washington who have been and are in Iraq. It's not a great number, but they are there. But it's not a draft, and the president can't choose who goes. It's a volunteer army and everything that you said is doing a disservice to those who have volunteered to represent this country and serve this country and their families, and if I were you, I would be ashamed and try to grow up and get a little maturity.

There's more where that came from. But you can't/won't/don't want to listen because you are in the narrow focus of the world where only you matter, only your feelings are to be considered, only your view is of any importance.

There are no lesser human beings on the earth than you and others of your stripe who have no respect, show no respect and therefore deserve no respect.

It wasn't only Cindy Sheehan's son who died, it was one of our countrymen, among many of our countrymen, who volunteered to go in harm's way as many have done before and many will do again in the future.

Where do we get such brave young men and women? Certainly not from you and your "friends." Take a good look around you at your "friends."

Which of them would go in harm's way to defend you?

More importantly, why should they even bother?

Dispute it? Hell it's a perfect example of liberal idiocy. God I love the first amendment, it lets these morons keep speaking so we know who they are.

Why doesn't the president force his daughters to serve? I don't know, since he doesn't force ANYONE ELSE TO SERVE EITHER! It's a volunteer force you wingnut! These men and women VOLUNTEER to serve! No one forces them!

Grow up, and put the bong down.

OK, troll. I doubt that you bother to stick around and reply to anybody or even read, but I'll dispute the "points" raised by this semi-literate letter-writer.

Isn't it wonderful that our pompous president is in such excellent condition healthwise?
Actually there isn't a point here, but the writer has already established by his name-calling that he is not likely to engage in any meaningful discussion of issues.

His eligible daughters aren't in Iraq protecting our country like so many others, more than 1,800 who have given their lives for a war that he started.
His daughters have nothing to do with the issues at hand. The military is an all volunteer force which people like this author completely disdain. Of course, he will pretend to respect them with comments about how many have "given their lives" when it suits his purpose to criticize the president, but this author has absolutely no respect for our soldiers.

With a smirk on his face, he says, "We will stay the course." Who is "we?" Not him or his family.
Liberals love to claim W says this or that with a smirk on his face. It isn't really a point to discuss, but rather a mean-spirited lie on their part. As to the second part of the statement, "WE" are the United States of America. And even though some of our citizens are panty-wastes that would be a better fit in France, we as a nation will stay the course and will not allow terrorists or their sympathizers on the left to deter us from defeating our enemies.

He's on a month's vacation.
Just like every president before him takes a month's vacation in August when the congress ends its session. Again, the author isn't really making much of a point, but to his undeveloped mind it must sound like it is a really devastating blow to ridicule the president for the vacation.

If he's so gung-ho about this war, show us some guts and send your kids to the front lines.
Gung-ho has nothing to do with it. His daughters have not chosen to join the military and he shouldn't pressure them to do so.

This war is not being won; the insurgents just keep on coming. And terrorism has gotten much worse since he began this senseless war.
Here the idiot finally tries to actually raise a point, but the point is demonstrably false. The war IS being won. Yes terrorists continue to come into Iraq from Syria, Saudi Arabia, and other hell-holes to try to destroy the freedom being born there. But they are still losing and we are still winning.

Then, too, he has no worry about health insurance. Boy, is he covered, not like the millions who have none.
Is this a point? It is not relevant to what he was discussing.

And what about the poor, the homeless and those who barely eke out a living? It's not his problem. Why worry? Go on vacation. Imagine a month's vacation. No wonder he's in such good condition. And while he's gone, who's minding the store? The other pompous snake?
Not much of a point here either. Just more incoherent rambling and name-calling.

I would think that if Dubya likes Texas so much, he should stay there and let one who has the total concern of our nation and its people take his place. In history, I believe this president will be judged the worst ever.
I guess we'll see about that. After his term is over, he will probably come back to Texas -- it is his home after all. Given the challenges W has faced and the bold policies he has implemented, I doubt the writer's assessment will be shared by many people other than the extreme fringe loony left that actually think Jimmy Carter was a good enough president to rank somewhere in the top 40.

So, there you go troll. I've disputed every "point" the author tried to make. Happy?

Oh, and it IS liberal wacko garbage you are spewing.

Part of this reasoning suggests that someone can not support a war effort unless they personally enlist in the service, or have loved ones in the service.

That's just not true. Someone doesn't have to be a fireman to support the fire department, nor a police officer to support the police in their town. A person need not have a family member in either career field to support the need for either, their mandate, etc.

And they don't need to be one to enjoy the benefits of them being there.
