In Loving Memory
of
Mark Allen Gregory, Jr.
January 22, 2005
to
August 13, 2005
Interment, Hebron Cemetery
Shepherdsville, Kentucky
Our smallest Fire Fighter has been called home to be with Our Father God.
His smile and laughter still rings in our ears, but God needed another Angel,
So, little Allen -
It is now your Blessed job to watch down upon us as
you run through the fields of Daisies, steeped in the Brilliant Sunshine,
As Jesus walks with you for Eternity.
You will always hold a special place in our Fire Fighting Family.

Mark Allen Gregory, 6 months old, was apparently the victim of SIDS.
Our Fire Fighters were on the scene in less than two minutes, but despite our best efforts,
he went Home. The family has many needs, and the
Lebanon Junction Fire and Rescue Squad is taking donations for whatever may come their way.
If my Canteen FReeper Family is interested, please FReep mail me,
and I can send you info on how to help.
Prayers are always appreciated, and we ask for those - ABOVE ALL ELSE.
This story may possibly be in our local paper this week. The website is http://www.pioneernews.net/ .
We are not sure if a special fund will be allocated as yet, but the local church benevolence fund,
and our Fire Fighting Family has raised close to $300.00 so far. The Funeral services were donated
by Kappel Funeral Home. Lebanon Junction, Kentucky - yet Hospital costs and interment has yet to be revealed to us.
Thank you for your prayers and support. JK
Prayers going out now.
Joining in prayer.
Psalm 34.
Oh my goodness, this is the saddest news! God watch over this young family, and bring them peace in this impossible time. May they always feel the presence of their young son around them. Blessings.
That was just beautiful and thanks for posting. God bless this family in this most tragic time of need.
Sometimes love is for a moment. Sometimes love is for a lifetime.
Sometimes a moment is a lifetime.
Prayers for the family of God's precious little one.
Prayers offered for family and friends.
I cannot even imagine. May the Lord comfort this family in their grief.
Thank you
for your prayers for little Mark Allen, Jr.
I am passing along all of your messages to the Family and Fire Department.
Today - one week to the day - we have received word
of the passing of another member
of our Fire Fighting Family.
Eddie Hatfield
Assistant Chief
of the
South East Bullitt Fire Department,
Bullitt County, Kentucky
passed this morning, after a long battle with cancer.
Last Sunday, all of the departments in the county, including some from surrounding counties,
held a parade for Eddie in front of his home -
a last 'Goodbye' that Eddie could see and participate in.
He will be laid to rest in the same cemetery as our smallest Firefighter.
When I am called to duty, God
Whenever flames may rage,
Give me the strength to save some life
Whatever be its age,
Help me embrace a little child
Before it is too late
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate
Enable me to be alert and
Hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently
To put the fire out
I want to fill my calling and
To give the best in me,
To guard my every neighbor and
Protect his property
And if according to my fate
I am to lose my life,
Please bless with your
protecting hand
My children and my wife.
Thanks so much to all of you. Your prayers and thoughts are truly appreciated and will be forever remembered.
Just Kimberly
My prayers are with this young couple in their time of sorrow.
this is so awful... i remember how paranoid i was when our baby was less than 18 months... i would go check on him constantly while he was sleeping... i don't want to even imagine what this couple is going through...
Rest in Peace
Assistant Chief Eddie Hatfield
My prayers will be with the friends and family who now mourn his passing.
Blessings,
trussell
