Statement by Cindy Sheehan:

As you've probably heard by now, my sister and I left the other Gold Star mothers in Crawford last night, after our mother had a stroke. I plan on returning to Camp Casey very soon, but while I'm in Los Angeles please respect that my sister, brother and I are here focusing on our mother, while the moms in Crawford focus on Bush. The President is not off the hook.

More and more mothers come to Crawford daily with their stories of grief and hope, so we can prevent more moms from losing their children in a war based on lies.

Reports that I'll be holding any kind of media events or talking to the press in LA are false.

I don't have much sympathy for people who don't have sympathy for others. You don't have to like me, just understand me. I have plenty of friends and am not looking for friends on here.

First of all I support our troops. They do their duty whether they agree with the reasons or not. They put their lives on the line and do not question when things aren't right. As private citizens we can and should speak out when things are wrong, because some people can't. I don't believe in just toting the line, like good little sheep.

I don't believe for a moment that the War in Iraq is making us safety. Iraq was no threat to our freedoms and liberties, before the war. That has changed now of course, post invasion.

Iraqi's can blow up other people and so can just about every other group in the world. If that is your reason for going after Iraq then there is a whole world out there to attack.
There is only really two ways to get people to stop wanting to kill you.

1. Kill everyone else.
2. Get people to stop wanting to kill you.

Which is your choice. As long as there is someone out there that wants to kill you, you will never be safe.

How many Arabs need to be killed to make you feel safe and so that your freedoms and liberties are protected.

On TV today, there was an interview with an Iraq War vet who lives in Crawford, and is pro-troops and Bush...

I guess he and his wife were asked if Cindy could use their land for an "interview", and they said OK...but then found out that is where she filmed her commercial...

They were NOT happy about that..

BTW, did you see the new thread that has an excerpt of a conference call she had with reporters on Tuesday? It says that she was asked how she feels about the person that ACTUALLY KILLED her son....and she said she feels no animosity toward him at all...doesn't blame him..just Bush.

No you dare not her mother is hospitalized and she has lost her son. She is getting divorced and her family is falling apart. Look we all know she was a pawn of the folk at move on (who themselves cant seem to move on) and its infuriating but lets be the adults here..
