Baltimore, Md.: Do you think its wise for the antiwar movement to rally around someone who has made so many strange comments about the Iraq War being a war for Israel?
Dana Milbank: The key for the antiwar movement is to use Sheehan as a symbol but not to make the movement about her. Last night was an effort to broaden beyond Sheehan to other parents. That's why MoveOn told people to bring pictures of children even if they aren't in the military, and organizers handed out stickers saying 'mom' and 'uncle' and so forth, even if the 'son' or 'nephew' wasn't in Iraq.

I wonder why the news media hasn't interviewed the people who served with Casey Sheehan.
Yes, she does.
SCsDD.
"Those people Grrrr .... how low can they go? "No" lie is beneath them!"
I'm at a loss. I just didn't conceive of them going to this extent. She might be a freak, but at least her son WAS THERE; how could you act like your family member was there when they weren't? It's diabolical!
Dana Milbank: Note who is vilifying her. As you point out, it's the bloggers, not the Bushies, and not elected Republicans. She is, in a sense, immune from that.
And once more, the extent to which this continues to be a story depends on the left's ability to broaden this beyond Sheehan. MoveOn claims there are now about 10 anti-war families who lost kids in Iraq.
It is all for the cau$e.
Reprehensible tactics, as usual.
The left can't make the label "Baby Killers" stick on our troops (and they did try hard), so they now attempt to make our troops babies.
That's why there were people like Richard Doofus (Dreyfuss) holding up "Bring our children hom" signs.
Uhm excuse me DOOFUS, but the US doesn't send children to war. If children are such a concern to DOOFUS, how come he never protested the terrorists sending retarded children to blow themselves up on Israeli busses??? Answer that DOOFUS!
Right. They're all raising money from this sick saga. That Jew hating "Peace House" received over $40 grand and paid off their freakin' mortgage if you all hadn't heard.
It's so despicable.
They advocate latching on to the attention Sheehan is getting, without getting close enough to be tainted by any discredit that may come her way.
That they encourage people to lie about having a family member serving on active duty--is really dirty.
I hope some of the media operatives on our side give it a mention.
Like Cindy and the rest of her leftist moonbat friends, they don't want the truth to get out.
Words worth repeating.
That pretty much sums up the whole idea of "Camp Fruitcake".
I sent it to Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly, Lowry, York, etc. I hope they go after it as well. It's really sick and destroys whatever credibility those vigils might have had.
I sent an outraged citizen email to our local TV station that covered the protest they had here Wednesday with a link to this story.
I wanted to make sure they knew they'd been taken in on this moveon.org fraud. It's just sick!
"I over heard a lib at work saying he hopes Iraq turns out just like Vietnam. Thats what they want. That was their hey day. Their huge ''success'' 40 years ago. They're craving another one.America running and a massacre ensuing. This is what these idiots want. all to punish George bush."
In a way I'm glad you heard that gal (how old are you?), it proves how twisted they are; wait 'til the death toll hits 2,000---"Party Time!"

Good job. Everyone should send it to their local news. How many of those people they interviewed holding photos of "loved ones" were genuine? I got one of the TV stations here to at least say "some people consider her to be a tool of the left" on their coverage yesterday morning.
We've got to make sure that they don't get what they want. We have to fight them with the truth and stand up for our troops!
