Now that Cindy has been interrupted by real life, and will presumably be cutting back on her earth-shattering pronouncementsits time to get back to the little things that make life worth living. Like her fetching ankle tattoo.
Observant folks noticed it in the photo of our hero mother getting her hair done before the cameras (posted down below). Since then the media has been religious about not showing her left ankle. (Believe me, Ive looked.
Here it is at last:
Well, at least she doesn't wear her grief on her sleeve.

I'm actually relived. At first I thought it was a stigmata.

Those are some unusual toes, aren't they? Look at the difference between #4 and #5.
To: Sam Hill
Looks like we have a case of toe nail fungus here.

What is with this obsession with tatoos (any tatoos that is) on a female's ankle? I think it is a most hideous place to have a tatoo. I was on an US air base recently and noticed several female Airmen with tatoos on their ankles while in uniform. Horrible!

Maybe she'll get "Meal Ticket" tattooed on her right ankle.

When I was in the Navy, you weren't allowed to have any tattoos that were visible while you were wearing your uniform.
Of course, we weren't issued stress cards either....

I'm missing the point here. So she got a tattoo. Everybody and his brother's got a tattoo anymore. If you don't believe me, go to the beach.
Now, if she had a tattoo that said "@#$% THE USA" or something, I'd see something about which to get upset.

Mrs D was asking me about Cindy Sheehan(she doesn't watch the news), but I kept having to define words like "moonbat" and "tragedy whore" and she somehow lost interest again.

Tattoos, and piercings generally pretty gross. Then guys who are too lazy to shave is on the second platter of irresponsibility. My great-great-grand-father 'wore' a beard, so I don't need a flame from the bearded ones here. Their 'razor' blades were less than sharp 250 years ago than they are today (ouch). My son, living in San Fran is growing a beard. The good news is that he is engaged to a woman.
