Not at all! Rather, the passage in Genesis serves to explain the suffering that America is about to bring upon itself.

I can't think of a respected US military or political leader during a time of war who has ever eschewed the Bible.(Washington, Lincoln, Lee, Sherman, Teddy, Patton, Marshall, etc)

And given the mortal and centuries old enemy we are again facing, why should we disdain our historical precdence now?

Do you know of a better source of guidance for our leaders in a time of peril than God?
