Hippies standing around singing "Give Peace A Chance." How quaint.
Well. We already gave peace a chance. It didn't work out.

Do none of these people see how desperately this woman needs emotional help? Anyone who loses a son , her job and her husband, who is divorcing her, in the space of 17 months is most likely running on fumes. This is not rocket science folks, this is a pathetically sick woman who has been set up as some sort of icon on the left.

The 1960s, take two!
The "anti-war" movement owns the MSM, that's the same.
It's war only when the U.S. fights back. That's the same.
It's not war when they attack and kill U.S. imperialists, sometimes referred to as peace but with the world's peoples expressing their unhappiness with the U.S. That's the same.
Here's something different. We have an Internet and there's no FCC "Fairness Doctrine" muzzle on radio. Hmmm.
Maybe the results will be different this time. The U.S. military gets to keep the war victory they won. I really hope so! This time it's for all the marbles.

Here's a little history lesson for the freaks and weirdos down at Crazy Cindy's Crawford Circus.
THE WAR IN IRAQ IS OVER!!!!! WE WON!!!! (Sorry to tell you that because I know how it hurts you).
What is going on in Iraq right now is that a bunch of your fanatical Islamic friends from outside Iraq are murdering Coalition soldiers and Iraqis that are trying to rebuild the country. Deal with it piggies.

We "gave peace a chance" in Vietnam, and three million people died.
Leftist perfidy and selfishness is universally fatal.

Sheehan says she will remain outside the president's ranch until he meets with her and other grieving families, or until his monthlong vacation there ends. I am so tired of the MSM omitting the fact that President Bush already met with her once. This paragraph should read
Sheehan says she will remain outside the president's ranch until he meets with her a second time and other grieving families so she can yell at and berate him, or until his monthlong vacation there ends.

"The vigils were urged by Cindy Sheehan, who has become the icon of the anti-war movement since she started a protest Aug. 6 in memory of her son Casey, who died in Iraq last year."
I guess I missed this being out of the country last week.
Her son died LAST YEAR and she's just starting this crap.
What a plant.

"FreeRepublic.com, which holds rallies to support troops and to counter anti-war demonstrations, held a pro-Bush rally Wednesday night with about 20 people at the same time and same Washington park as a candlelight vigil that drew about 300, said Kristinn Taylor, co-leader of the group's Washington, D.C., chapter."
Doesn't anyone get that Hanoi Kerry is behind this,
along with Hanoi Jane?
Why, if in the 2004 election, "we won" with an overwhelming majority why are "we" outflanked by the wacko's?
Why is the majority silent like they were in the 60's and 70's and allowed Nixon to "give up" even though he was involved in Viet Nam since at least 1955?
I applaud all who do something, in person, or by mail, e-mail etc to support our troops.
But why did it take an attack on President Bush to light a fire on most conservatives.
Where was the same support for the troops in Gitmo a few months back when they were under attack?
Where is the support, by the right, to impeach Hanoi Kerry for his crimes in the 60's and 70's?
If I sound "bitter" I am.
But then again I'm just a lifelong Independent who has been cast aside once the 2004 elections were over by a few long term GOP members on Free Republic.
NEW FLASH : I just don't care what people think.
I know what I do each and every week in the real world
to support our military and I will continue to do so as long as I live and breathe.
I also am smart enough to know that many on FR also support the troops in person and in other ways.
AND I know the ones who just show up to support the President.
Well I voted in 2000 and 2004 for President Bush.
BUT my 1st allegiance is with our military.

Disgraceful.
But in this country, the one these people hate, they have the right to embarrass themselves.

Karen Braz, 50, held a pink votive cup and a sign reading "Moms for Peace" as she stood shoulder-to-shoulder with about 150 other people outside the New Hampshire statehouse in Concord. "My son is 26. It could've been him," she said.
I hate being so cynical, but is Ms. Braz' son actually IN the military? It certainly doesn't say that in the article, even though we're supposed to read it that way. She's a Mom with a son, and she's for peace, but her son's status/service/occupation is a total mystery the way this article is written. "Professional Journalists," bah.

This is emblematic of how the MSM has covered this charade. This UW twit obviously is unaware that the President has already met with Sheehan, it's on the record. What do you expect from a bastion of left-wing lunacy?

Otter: Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these b*stards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons. But that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.

Hundreds of candlelight vigils calling for an end to the war in Iraq lit up the night Wednesday, part of a national effort spurred by one mother's anti-war demonstration near President Bush's ranch. Has Al-Qaeda responded yet?
