Her son was a hero who made his own choice to enlist. Cindy on the other hand, is a useless piece of trash. I am well past having any sympathy for her. I'm sure her family wishes the roles were reversed and Casey was still here and she was the one gone. I know I do.

Parents have no authority, moral or otherwise, over their children who have reached the age of majority and act in good faith in good conscience accoding to the beat of their own drummer. Parents who fail to respect that, in my view do have an unwise and suffocating authoritarian aspect about them. They feel it is all about them, and it isn't. Their only remaining role is to give support, and loving advice, and the latter, absent extenuating circumstances, usually only when solicited.

That is how I see it.

I read about this type of person in a book called, "Understanding the Borderline Mother", by Christine Lawson.

In the book she describes a mother who is overbearing and narcissistic to the point of being toxic to her children.

So declared Cindy Sheehan earlier this year during a rally at San Francisco State University.

Sheehan, who is demanding a second meeting with Bush, stated: "We are waging a nuclear war in Iraq right now. That country is contaminated. It will be contaminated for practically eternity now."

Sheehan unleashed a foul-mouth tirade on April 27, 2005:

"They’re a bunch of fucking hypocrites! And we need to, we just need to rise up..." Sheehan said of the Bush administration.

"If George Bush believes his rhetoric and his bullshit, that this is a war for freedom and democracy, that he is spreading freedom and democracy, does he think every person he kills makes Iraq more free?"

"The whole world is damaged. Our humanity is damaged. If he thinks that it’s so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go to this war."

"We want our country back and, if we have to impeach everybody from George Bush down to the person who picks up dog shit in Washington, we will impeach all those people."

... First,it was the story about Iraq being a nuclear threat and having weapons of mass distruction. Then everyone kept alluding to the 9/11 attack. (Those guys were mostly Saudis who trained in Afganistan under Bin Laden. We still have not found Bin Laden...short memory on some people's part) Then it was the war to liberate Iraq, or the war of Iraqui freedon. That didn't work and the story became the War against terror. ...

Check the resolution that all your buddies voted for authorizing us to invade Iraq. It list all those and more. It is the Democrats and the MSM who keep changing Bush's reason for going to war.

I think Sheehan has gone off the deep end mentally. Her grief is unbearable to her, and to avoid feeling it, she obsessively seeks attention - which may be the only thing standing between her and suicide. When the liberal media and the lunatic fringe groups have packed up their circus tent and gone home there will be nothing left except Cindy and her pain, which will probably hit her with hurricane force. I wonder if Michael Moore and code pink will be there to pick up the pieces, but I doubt that the suicide hotline is part of their agenda.

WRONG! It was about the UN Resolutions that Saddam refused to comply with. Does your heart not care about those brave men and women who lost their lives during Desert Storm? That war ended because Saddam AGREED to comply with the UN Resolutions. Should their deaths be in vain? It was until the U.S. and its Allies made Saddam accountable for the fact that he refused to comply. How many of our planes were shot at? Do you care?

Yes, those other reasons were important as well. But what started this war was Saddam's failure to comply with UN Resolutions. Don't you forget it.
