Short and sweet. Were I a palestinian, I'd listen, the King might deal with them the way his pop did.

Apologies for a second ping, but as a reminder, part of the Phased Plan of 1973, official PLO/PA doctrine, calls for "reunification", not necessarily peaceful, with Jordan on establishment of a "state", prior to expelling the Jews from israel. The good King may see terror arriving at his door, via Gaza.

The relevant articles.
5,-truggle along with the Jordanian national forces to establish a Jordanian-Palestinian national front whose aim will be to set up in Jordan a democratic national authority in close contact with the Palestinian entity that is established through the struggle.
6-The Liberation Organization will struggle to establish unity in struggle between the two peoples and between all the forces of the Arab liberation movement that are in agreement on this programme.
and for the socialist, pali supporters among us
9-The Liberation Organization will strive to strengthen its solidarity with the socialist countries, and with forces of liberation and progress throughout the world, with the aim of frustration all the schemes of Zionism, reaction and imperialism.

Jordan is Palestine. Actually only part of it. At one time "Palestine" comprised what is now Israel and Jordon (mostly). Then it was partitioned, with everything from the Jordon river westward to the sea designated for the Jews, with the larger part to the east of the river designated for the Muslims. When Israel declared statehood, the Arab Legion, which belonged to the current King of Jordan's grandfather, along with Syria, Egypt, Iraq and others, invaded and eventually took what is now known as the West Bank. Israel took it back in the '67 war, aka the "Six Day War".

Nothing new here. Jordan closed it's borders to Palestinians back in the 50's and treated them far worse than the Israelis ever did. Jordan doesn't want the Palestinians and won't let them enter Jordan.

Jordan's King Abdullah II and his son, Prince Hussein, watch demonstration flights during the Moscow International Air show at Zhukovsky airfield outside Moscow, Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005. Abdullah II said Tuesday purchasing military hardware was one of the reasons for visiting Russia.'I am actually going to the air show to look at Russian equipment and look into purchasing Russian military systems for our armed forces, and that is part of the reason I am in Moscow,' the king was quoted as saying by ITAR-Tass.(AP Photo/Mikhail Metzel)

No one in their right mind would want to live with these savages. If they try to move into Jordan, they will die, and the world won't utter a peep.
