That story is a good one - that don't let this be your daughter and the fact he grew up in that neighborhood.

No, at the moment all heroin is bad, because it is produced, distributed, and sold by criminal elements. For some reason, this is greatly preferable to good heroin being manufactured by reputable firms, and sold by licensed people who have accountability and whose product is traceable and whose purity and dosage is consistent. In fact, it is so greatly preferable that most people won't even discuss any alternative.

This used to be called "Death by Misadventure".

A more genteel way of saying: Man, you screwed up big time.

Back when I was a pharmacist at a free Methadone clinic we asked for samples of the Heroin from clients who were trying to kick the stuff. The percentage of diacetyl morphine was all over the place. It averaged 5% but we got melting points that had it at 20%.

both 18 and with promising futures.

promising futures as what? Drug addicts? I heard a resume of their lives on talk radio and they were not saints as many will now portray them to be.

Let's do it that way, so the tax payers can pay for it!

Of course. If marijuana, cocaine and heroin were legalized, they automatically become good. Just ask the libertarians.

Are we to feel sorry for these two? It was a waste, but it was 100% their "choice" and we shouldn't be wasting our pity on those with such self-destructive behavior - this is NOT a disease - it is the result of a personal choice.

*applause*

A druggie who continues for years to be one and doesn't kill herself can be a real curse to everyone around her.

" I heard a resume of their lives on talk radio and they were not saints as many will now portray them to be."

So.... I don't know any saints. Are you a saint? Do you deserve to die if you aren't?

Nothing killed these girls exeptly their own stupid behavior.

So when people died from drinking tainted alcohol during Prohibition, that said nothing about the advisibility of continuing that policy?
