Not at all. We've asked our friend to move towards peace. As part of that, we've asked them to reverse an action they took, an action that violated an international agreement we both signed. An action that every single President since it was taken has opposed.

Gaza is not Israel. It's not even legally part of Israel.

That international agreement (A.K.A. ceasefire) was BROKEN long ago by Hamas! The territories were taken by act of war...a war who's sole purpose was to drive the Jews into the sea.

Isreal is being held to an unfair standard. This entire thread proves this. Arab terrorists murder and main untold numbers of Israelis... but ONE Israeli follows suit and the world "descends" upon them.

Are you aware the there is a large movement in Mexico that believes that portions of Texas and Arizona were taken illegally and still "legally" belong to Mexico?

But this isn't Mexico we're talking about....it's ISRAEL, and even people who know little about end times prophesy watch the tiny nation.

Why a whole new "state"? If (as you say), this is "illegal", then why isn't the land given back to the countries from which it was taken? You know why? I know why! It's because NOBODY wants that stinking bunch of Arab terrorists called Philishtim (palestinians)! Even the nations from which they came don't want them!

This entire world issue of Islam/Israel/America is based on a big "legal vs moral" philosophy. It's here because of people who don't understand right and wrong from a moral perspective. The "law" is easy to understand. But to know right and wrong from God's perspective requires that you know Him.

Lest I have to remind anybody, Arafat had his CHANCE to have a "state" back in the mid 90's and he turned it DOWN because he couldn't have JERUSALEM!

Leaving aside the fact that Hamas was never party to any cease-fire with Israel (and is therefore fair game for any and all IDF attacks), I am referring to the 1949 Geneva Convention, which forbids occupying powers from settling their civilians in occupied territories.
