Your anti-semitism is showing. Your statement that George Bush "worked for Israel" stinks of leftist islamicfascism. Perhaps you'd be happier at DU.

A person who is 'scrappy' would be one who has the heart and the will for a good fight when all else fails. King David would have had to have been "scrappy" to throw aside King Saul's armor and go up against Goliath armed only with his slingshot.

This man did a terrible thing to the poor people he shot and to Israelis in general. It is only going to inflame the Palestinians even more, and they are thirsting enough already for the blood of innocent Jews. And he was killed by a mob, an action which some Christians view from a no harm, no foul perspective.

Well, now that the Israelis have made a huge concession, wouldn't reason and logic dictate that now it is the turn of Abbas to make a concession?
What concession is he making, or has even offered?
He has not even lifted a finger to fulfill the obligations under the "road map" other than to whine "I'm tryyyyiiiiing but the eeeeevil Eees-rah-aay-lees are not letting me!" which appears to be sufficient for the "George Bush is Jesus Christ" crowd.
No, Israel making this very huge concession has caused Abbas to demand EVEN MORE CONCESSIONS in return for his doing nothing.

I don't call this a relocation, or an evacuation, I call it a Pogrom. They are stuffing the Jews into a Jewish Ghetto, whatever they want to call it, it is now the Jews who will live behind walls. Now a Ghetto, next an expulsion. This is the plan.
I do hope that the people in charge of these grand experiments remember that it is possible for Israel to LOSE THIS WAR and if they do the choices are stark: diaspora or death.

Ahh! I understand. George went south when he stopped working for Israel, as we all know that is the purpose of an American president; to defend Israel. That you Cindy?

Palestinians allied with Israelis? You know, that is a picture that I have never considered, and have a hard time visualizing under almost all credible scenarios. Although, I'll admit, it is an intriguing gambit. It's just hard to imagine any (credible) circumstances that would bring that about
That's the wild card in the mideast. The Palestinians have been played for chumps by the Arabs, and that can't last forever. If they made peace with the Jews they would prosper and become the dominant force in the Arab world. Palestinian revenge against the Arab states instead of Israel is a real fear in their world.
I agree about Hitler and the UN now, but see it as an authoritarian mob awaiting a charismatic leader.

Would you do me a huge favor and point me to the section of the Constitution that gives the President the authority to "stand by America's allies?" You'll find it in the same place that gives the President the authority to give away $50 million of American taxpayer's money to America's enemies.

Your posts, collectively. I thought the same thing as I was reading them.
And no. I don't care to go back and find them...they're on the thread.

Very well stated. Thank you!
I am woefully ignorant regarding so many of the facts, but I am very upset that Israel is having to concede anything, even though I have read here that the Gaza Strip is a dump... it was Israel's.

Did this guy murder babies?
No. We're talking hypotheticals here. Hypothetically speaking, if the idea of a "Palestinian innocent" is an impossibility, does this hypothetically mean a PO'ed settler deciding to bury a slug in a Palestinian newborn's skull is morally just?
Just curious.

You would be one of the last people I would do a favor for, frankly. And your comment is so specious it is hardly worth a reply, but I'll give it a shot.
It is not a constitutional issue nor is it an issue of "authority". We are not talking about the War Powers Act for God's sake. Quite simply, it is accepted foreign policy and has been for some time now that American presidents lend at least verbal support to their allies. They don't have to, they are not authorized to constitutionally, supporitng allies is part of foreign policy.
Seriously, you will get banned here sooner or later for your jew-bashing, so why don't you just leave quietly?
