If Cyprus wants to help their tourism they should evaluate their airplanes.

Pictures! We need pictures!
OT - I don't care what anyone says, but those huge square blocks and roadways out in the middle of the ocean are man made.

ATLANTIS
Donovan - 1969
The continent of Atlantis was an island
which lay before the great flood
in the area we now call the Atlantic Ocean
So great an area of land, that from her western shores
those beautiful sailors journeyed
to the South and the North Americas with ease,
in their ships with painted sails.
To the East Africa was a neighbor, across a short strait of sea miles.
The great Egyptian age is but a remnant of The Atlantian culture.
The antediluvian kings colonised the world
All the God's who play in the mythological dramas
In all legends from all lands were from fair Atlantis.
Knowing her fate, Atlantis sent out ships to all corners of the Earth.
On board were the Twelve:
The poet, the physician, the farmer, the scientist,
The magician and the other so-called God's of our legends.
Though God's they were -
And as the elders of our time choose to remain blind
Let us rejoice and let us sing and dance and ring in the new
Hail Atlantis!
Way down below the ocean where I want to be she may be, (5x)
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah,
I want to see you some day
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah,
My antediluvian baby, (2x), I love you, girl,
Girl, I want to see you some day.
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah
I want to see you some day, oh
My antediluvian baby.
My antediluvian baby, I want to see you
My antediluvian baby, got to tell me where she gone
I want to see you some day
Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, oh yeah
Oh glub glub, down down, yeah
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah yeah yeah yeah

What do they mean that they're looking for Atlantis? It's on every Friday night on the Sci Fi Channel. All they have to do is check their local listings.

"He said it was no coincidence that his team discovered a 3km long straight wall intersected at right angles by another wall, adding that this will silence any remaining skepticism about his longstanding claims that modern Cyprus is what remains of a much larger and now partly sunken mass which fits Platos description of the ancient land of Atlantis." I agree with all this except the Atlantis part. I believe the Mediterranean was blocked off during the Ice Age and it's waters were much, much lower. There's probably a lot of villages, etc. down there.

Thanks Q5 for the ping, and JB6 for the topic. I think we've got one or two on this, but as they're old, I may wind up pingin' the list when I get home.
