FDR's approach to dissidents was to invite them to the White House and treat them to a barrage of charm and awe. He was sublimely good at that, and disarmed most people who dared talk back to him.

W has no diplomatic skills, and his handlers keep him insulated from the public. Everything is staged about and around him. This hurts the war effort, and eventually will hand the White House to the Witch Queen.

And like I said, $3 a gallon a gasoline will be the Republican's death knell. You can bet on it.

Really - FDR met repeatedly with every dissident?! I find that hard to believe since he was, YOU KNOW, fighting WWII.

If we invaded Kuwait and Iraq for oil, it looks like that plan is not working, Cindy.

Was much worse under Carter.Oh and those poll numbers? The polls were skewed-----again. 48% dems vs 38% Republicans. (per Rush)

You don't know ANYthing about President Bush's character. And FDR couldn't have come close.

An what pray tell is the Donks solution for lower gas prices, being that the entire world is being affected by high oil prices, not just us...Nationalizing the oil industry, Dumping the SPR (didn't work for Clinton, and not enough refineries to use the oil), bringing back the Carter-ian "Windfall Profits Tax"??

Are you too dense to understand the words:

SHE ALREADY MET WITH HIM?

This is a TRAP.

Could you please cite evidence for this?

That, and illegal immigration, amongst other things. It wouldn't hurt GWB to show up. Ms. Sheehan has gone off the deep end after her son's death, imo, but ignoring her isn't making her go away...it's making him look bad. It's unfortunate, but that's the way the media is spinning it. And people wanting quick, bloodless war are not going to be quietly patient in the way that is needed. We're in it for the long haul, and getting out now would be disastrous, imo. Joe Schmoe and Suzy Creamcheese who only watch CNN aren't going to understand that, though, and that's who Cindy Sheehan resonates with. *shrug*
