Complicit to Cover-up
Geoff Metcalf ^ | August 15, 2005 | Geoff Metcalf

Once again, ‘the official government story’ is leaking like a colander. I just read the August 12th ‘Kean-Hamilton statement on ABLE DANGER’ from the 9/11 Commission…henceforth to be referred to as ‘Commission CYA Addendum (Revised)’.

Recently two separate groups of 9/11 widows articulated their shock and horror that the 9/11 Commission ignored significant and critical evidence. Duh! Hell-o?

The 9/11 Commission’s decision to flat out ignore testimony that military intelligence had identified Mohamed Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi in 1999 as terrorist threats already in the U.S. but was specifically ordered not to tell the FBI suffers an adequate adjectives to replace contemptible, reprehensible, monumentally malfeasant, or freaking crazy…

The Commission says, ‘nuh-uh’…but a reasonable person would conclude they are being less than forthcoming (translation: they are lying).

Last year, Regan Books published 'Cover Up/What the Government is Still Hiding About the War on Terror'. Author Peter Lance has shown how the government repeatedly, chronically, and outrageously sacrificed national security for petty personal and political preferences.

As one of the widows said, "Now the truth is our intelligence agencies did not fail…They were tracking them. Now the question is why did we perpetrate that myth and why were we not able to unravel the plot, especially in light of the fact that we had Mohamed Atta in our sights."

Good question. Perhaps Jaimie Gorelick and Dieter Snell should be asked, under oath?

Rep. Curt Weldon, blames the so-called "firewall" erected by the Clinton Justice Department that myopically prohibited sharing intelligence with law enforcement. He is not the Lone Ranger. Such a territorial imperative exceeds even the most egregious bureaucratic brain flatulence.

According to Weldon, a year before 9/11, Clinton lawyers told a group of military intelligence officers that information they had developed on 9/11 ringleader Mohamed Atta could not be shared with the FBI. Reportedly, they said of Atta: "You can't even touch him - it doesn't matter what information you have." Huh?!?!

You do your best to get the word out. Once again, the Pajama Patrol needs to push the issue from the blogosphere into the MSM. We've worn a track from here to there. We just need to use it again.

Aid and Comfort clause for treason no longer exists?
Why else have these traitors not been arrested?

I've heard it said. if one violated the rules of Gorelick's "the wall" that one or ones could be arrested?
Is this true?

We can continue to pointlessly work the story until Sept. 11, when hopefully we'll find some takers.

In the meantime, the left has weeks to develop God knows what kind of spin.

I have been told by another freeper than Weldon has never mentioned The Wall or firewall.

Has Weldon actually mentioned The Wall?

The thing is, Bush kept quite a few Clinton apointee's in security who had to have known, but didn't make it known to the new administration.
Still, the left will never place blame their King and Queen.

Dunno. I mean, Clinton refuses to take OBL when offered - thrice - and his attorneys threaten anybody who wants Atta investigated. Certainly he can't dodge this forever.

And where's Mansoor Ijaz when you need him. Certainly he can help connect these dots that so many are claming to simply not be able to see.

Yes., he did, perhaps not using the word wall, but in a letter to committee members he did talk about somewhere from i998 - 2000 it was made impossible to share information.
If you care to read the letter, go to the world net daily web site, and in search type Curt Weldon.

I've been wondering the same thing.......it's like he's fallen off the face of the earth.

Peter Lance?

I've listened to Geoff Metcalf from the time he was local in Sacramento through his years on KSFO in S.F. This is no criticism of Metcalf. But Peter Lance?

Coast-to-Coast alert 07/18/05 - Peter Lance

CoasttoCoastAM's George Noory is a very competent broadcaster, one of the best I've heard in decades of radio beginning in the 1940s. But. .

The best I can judge Noory is a diehard FDR Democrat who hates Daddy Warbucks Republicans. None gets off more than Noory on Bush bashing. He's rabid about Halliburton.

But Lance's Bush bashing made Noory uncomfortable.
