The only solution is to present both sides or get out of the box. There aren't "two sides" to this issue. You have science (evolution) and pseudo-scientific speculation (ID). Only science should be taught in science class.
Now, when the ID folks actually come up with evidence for their position (instead of trying to tear down evolution, which is not the same thing), then they will have a dog in this hunt.

The dictionary definition for science is not evolution.
Just like the word marriage got perverted so has the word science.
Evolution is "man's" theory, nothing Godly about it and when He decides to pull the feeding plug, tax dollars it will be done.

Look, this is ultimately about who gets the say on what gets taught in the classrooms. It's a battle to use government authority to teach (and not teach) things you disagree with. Let's take the battle out of that arena and put choice in the hands of the parents - that's the ONLY way to end the internal squabbling.
