Clearwater, FL (LifeNews.com) -- New details are emerging about the angle estranged husband Michael Schiavo is pursuing in a possible medical malpractice lawsuit related to the medical care provided to Terri. Michael is pursuing an August 2003 incident in which Terri was hospitalized with a possible severe infection. Earlier this week, a new attorney for Michael filed legal papers asking for a 90 day extension of the statute of limitations on filing a medical malpractice case. Mark Perenich, who takes over for euthanasia advocate George Felos, said in the petition that is representing as the attorney for Michael and Terri's estate.
Michael is pursing a possible case based on an incident occurring around August 14, 2003.
Near that time, Terri was admitted to Morton Plant Hospital on at least two occasions because of numerous medical issues such as a bleeding esophagus, urinary tract infection, and pneumonia.
Terri was transported from Woodside Hospice to the hospital after she coughed up blood, Felos said at the time. Doctors thought she may have had a stomach ulcer, but Terri's family later indicated she was being treated for a bleeding esophagus.
On August 24, Terri was again admitted to the hospital for a "substantial infection" and lung congestion with possible pneumonia.
At that time, Michael indicated Terri may die without medical treatment and hospital officials told him that she could die even if they treated her. Michael asked Judge George Greed to be able to halt any medical treatment, thereby causing Terri's possible death.
Felos, however, admitted Terri would likely "turn the corner" if given medical treatment.
If the courts grant Michael's petition, he and his attorney will be given 90 additional days to look into the matter and file a formal medical malpractice lawsuit. Under Florida law, legal action must be taken within two years of the alleged mistreatment unless an extension is granted.
There is no word on what grounds Michael would claim the malpractice occurred.
While Michael may be file suit based on possible mistreatment, nurses who cared for Terri over the years say he was responsible for mistreating her.
Terri died on March 31 after a painful two week-long starvation and dehydration death following Judge Greer's decision Michael could end her life.
My pc has the hiccups.
thanks. I hate that scummy man.
Terri paid with her life because of deception from these same folks who appear in the tv spot in violation of Fla law. Their bosses are Sheriff Rice and State Atty Bernie McCabe. (won't work w/older pc Real Player)

Please email this tv spot to your reps in DC and to the media. Thanks, FV
He actually made her grave site marker about himself?
He is a monster of immense pathological proportions
And as Mark Furhman pointed out in his book Silent Witness , this freak has been living off of Terri's money for a long, LONG time.
Jodi must be one very sick freak herself, to stay with this demented stench.
Poor Mikey...looking for money once again and looking for someone to batter....sounds as if things are catching up with this failed human being, rapidly.
Sounds more like Michael Schiavo, Judge (err, "Governor") George W. Greer, and the scumbag attorney Felos have run through most of the money from Terri's estate and they're looking to replenish their pockets.
Nothing more and nothing less.

HINO said she departed in Feb. of 1990. Well, tell that to all her visitors, her nurses and everyone Terri wasn't hidden from.
She looks alot older than her chronological age. That won't do forever. He'll trade her in or demand that she get plastic surgery if she wants to hold on to him.
Plus she has a mental problem of epic proportions to hang her life under the tormented shadow of mikey the moocher. This man will NEVER be able to hold a real job down, a few months and he is always fired...his sickness, laziness, narcissistic sociopathic personality, his volitile temper get him FIRED every time...just look at his work history...Hell...Terri SUPPORTED him even when she was physically destroyed by him.
Hopefully Jodie will not take the battering that Terri endured, but you ca bet it has arisen in their home more than once.
She will have to monitor that monster every day of their lives together...even as he orders her around (and you can BET he will live off of what she earns if he can no longer suck off Terri's money, as that well dries) and slowly begins to use her as his next whipping post...already friends are leaving him, you can count on that...he stinks badly...it is a death stench...and he will NEVER be able to wash it out.
To see this monster is to see a starving innocent, thirsty and helpless to cry out. He is the stuff of nightmares...his children will hate him when they grow up.
In his mind...the BITCH ( as he referred to Terri once upon a time and probably LOTS to Jodi ) is dead, but unfortunately, but as she left earth, she deposited a stench of disgrace and infamy upon the monster and his concubine that they will never ever be able to wash off.
That is how it works.
Terri, of course, was truly loved by her family, her parents and siblings, and that ALONE is something michael the monster, michael the ugly, michael the sociopath, michael the liar, michael the failed human being will never EVER have. Nor will Jodi.
They tortured and killed an innocent...they know it...and forever they are engulfed in the stench.
I wonder if we should begin a Jodi watch?
Let me get this straight -- the HINO sued when they wouldn't let Terri die; now the HINO is suing because the hospital didn't treat Terri so she would live?? There aren't enough bad adjectives to describe this piece of excrement!! Oh, BTW, will the HINO's buddy, Greer, hear this latest malpractice lawsuit?? If Greer's the judge -- no problem for the HINO! Un-freakin'-believable!!
Cheryl Ford's book has an impressive cover.
