Able Danger — now they tell us

The report of the 9/11 Commission, once a best seller and hailed by the news media as the definitive word on the subject, must now be moved to the fiction shelves.

The commission concluded, you'll recall, that the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon couldn't have been prevented, and that if there was negligence, it was as much the fault of the Bush administration (for moving slowly on the recommendations of Clinton counterterrorism chief Richard Clarke) than of the Clinton administration.

Able Danger has changed all of that.

The seriousness of the charge requires a complete investigation of staff and commissioners alike!

The stupid democrats actually had the nerve to attack Bush for not immediately recognizing the 9/11 Commission as his God and savior.

I am so proud of Bush for standing up to them. Let the dogs eat the crumbs off his floor for a change.

A bit of pressure on the staff may unearth just which of the commissioners had knowledge of the information. Put 'em all under oath.

It was the funniest thing at the time, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Something simply didn't smell right about the 9/11 report. Now it looks like the real cleansing can begin.

Ahhhh. Life is good. Now, let's keep this investigation wide open! Full speed ahead!

Sorry. Jamie Gorelick took an oath of infallibility, pledging that history forever must regard her and her work as the infallible whole truth regarding 9/11, and that whatsoever her work does not discuss, we all must consider as a lie, regardless of any supporting evidence. We therefore must regard the 9/11 report with reverence appropriately accorded to a divine revelation.

(Note: As a Democrat, Gorelick cannot tell a lie; her statements, invariably true, are subject to the "it depends on the definition of the word 'is'" Standard of Truth.)

You bet! If it weren't for his words of truth, this would have been hidden forever. It would have stayed in Sandy Berger's underwear.

A little background on Miss Jamie:

Jamie S. Gorelick (born May 6, 1950) was the number two official in the U.S. Department of Justice during the Clinton administration. She was appointed by Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle to serve as a commissioner on the bipartisan National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, which sought to investigate the circumstances leading up to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Gorelick served as Vice Chairman of the Federal National Mortgage Association from 1997 to 2003. Before serving as Deputy Attorney General of the United States, she was General Counsel of the Department of Defense and a prominent attorney with the firm of Miller, Cassidy, Larroca & Lewin. She also served as an assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Energy from 1979 to 1980.

Gorelick was president of the District of Columbia Bar from 1992 to 1993. She is currently a law partner in the Washington office of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering.

From the JWR article:
"Hamilton changed his tune after the New York Times reported Thursday, and the Associated Press confirmed, that commission staff had been briefed on Able Danger in October of 2003 and again in July of 2004."

What pray tell is this all about?
The NYT outing the "good guys"?
Are we suddenly beholden to the NYT for reporting a story that helps conservatives?
OMG!!! This cannot be!

Why is Judith Miller really in jail?

For not squealing on a friend...a liberal friend if you ask me.
But how does she relate to this?

This is no surprise to most of us I hope. We knew that Clinton covered up and thumbed his nose at terrorism. We also knew the commission was a joke that was predetermined to find no fault with Bill and Hillary, and try to blame the new administration for 911. This will continue, as the MSM will cast this aside, and most ham and eggers out there won't even know about if.

FOX has been discussing it, but they're just starting. It's like the TV news is always about a month behind us.

Finally, people will see that 9/11 commission was full of liars!
