Camp Casey is becoming very organized, with how-to signs placed about. Ann Wright said, "That's what we are trying to do."
Let me read you the schedule posted on a tree: "9:15 camp meeting; 10 a.m. inter-faith service, 10:30 a.m., "Food-Not-Bombs Breakfast at Peace House," and....
"Wait! Someone is firing a gun. (pause). He fired it into the air about five times. He appears to be a local inside the fence line on private property. Now he has thrown what looks like a shotgun into the front seat of a pickup, and he's stomping off out of sight. I wonder where he went.
"Now he's coming back out. I'm out here standing on the road. He's got a no parking sign in his hand, walking toward his fence. I'm going to go try to talk to him. I've got to hang up."
(three minutes later)
I went over and talked to the man. He is Larry Mattlage, who says he is on his property and just posted a no-parking sign.
"We're going to start doing our war and it's going to be underneath the law," he told me. "Whatever it takes. So y'all go find another place to do whatever you do. 'Cause this is our front yard and back yard."
I asked, "Do you mean the protestors?"
Wait.....now there's some Secret Service and cops. I'm going to get closer to hear what they're saying. People in bullet-proof vests are here now. Two Secret Service agents are now walking up his driveway towards his house, with Mr. Mattlage. A member of the Sheriff's Department has arrived. Mr. Mattlage is waving his arms now. All of them are now walking back this way.
Now they are between the lane and the house. He's at the fence now. Let me record what they are saying. I'll call right back.

Remember, the ranch meighboring is the hunting ranch belonging to Ted Nugent. I dont think that the "shot" was heard from there, but it is still the 1st thing that popped in my head when I saw the article title.
"This would be a good time to start dynamiting stumps near the fence."
Excellent idea! If you really want to send the moonbats to their porta-potties, don't hit the detonator until there's a plane passing overhead, preferably a jet.
Well, now that you mention it, this is another excellent choice. Let loose mounds and mounds worth of fire ants--then do the dusting. :)
You're right, I suppose it would. *snicker*
Time to take out the trash in Crawford. Round 'em up, ship 'em out.
I didn't know that. I hope Ted takes his neighbor up on the invitation.
;-)
I'm telling you, we are heading toward Squeaky Fromme land here.
Btw i don't smoke... but that just had to be said.
yeah... can you imagine how terrified they'd be at the howling packs of coyotes that sneak up to them in the dark and fight over the gutpiles?
The Rancher most likely used size 12-6 pellets if they were coming down on his own head, #4-000 is generally used for home defense
From what I've read, a group of family members released a statement saying they disagree with her, one child is drinking and partying (according to Cindy) and one is apparently divorcing her. That's all I know.
The Crawford situation is grim for folks who want to protest Sheehan and her assembled conspirators. Because Peace House owns land on that road they have the logistics locked up. They have numerous shuttles and can move back and forth from their location to town with ease.
Anti Sheehan or Pro Bush Pro Troops people have a very limiting parking problem. Yesterday a pretty good sized group was able to make it out to the Peace House location by parking at a local ranch as arranged by the Houston group. There was some shuttling but most had to walk at least a mile in the heat.
Of course the main body of the Leftists fled into town for their own little rally. After FR and other Pro Bush people had pretty much melted away they all went back out to the Peace House location.
The only way any real demonstration could have impact in Crawford would be for at least a thousand participants to show up and flood the town. The media just follows the biggest or most organized group around. Of course the local law works against this. You have to have permission to hold an assembly.
Bush has made a big mistake by going to Crawford for five weeks. He has handed the left a big win on a plate.
Good - this time, shoot the instigators rather than the folks in the background.
Thanks for the clarification of boundries
mmmmm..........chunky.........
My parents and all their neighbors live in farms, ranches all in East Texas. If groups like Cindy's came in like this and sitting on the side of the roads in front of their land I'm almost sure my dad and his neighbors would be out there with showt guns telling them to get lost.
It might be wise for the President to cut short the vacation at Crawford, and go to Camp David for the remainder of the five weeks.
I agree--why hand the moonbats this opportunity on a silver platter?
A poster at LGF suggests that packs of hungry wolves should airlifted to Crawford to disperse the Moonbats.
What the man needs to do is throw out some fire ant bait.Just dribble some junk everywhere that they are hanging out.
Because our CIC is a master at given em enough rope.
