The left claims this editorial is from Cindy's hometown -- and they are all upset about it.

As I wrote on another thread, my heart goes out to Cindy and her family (and all military families). Cindy has suffered a tremendous loss, as many mothers have, throughout history, when their sons defended freedom and liberty. That's not nothing. Her son gave his life so that others could be free, as was his choice in this volunteer military fighting a war on terrorism. We all greive for him. I'm sure GW does, too.

From the same paper that ran the story of her meeting with Bush last year.
Is there a way to ZOT people in real life, Cindy deserves it!

The left claims this editorial is from Cindy's hometown -- and they are all upset about it. I've read a couple of times that she's not appreciated by her hometown.

I can understand a mother's grief over losing her child; I can even understand that grief taking her over the edge. But Cindy Sheehan seems to have fallen in love with the camera and microphone and the false sense of importance they carry. This will end soon as her 15 minutes dry up, and then Cindy will have to grieve once again--over the loss of her self-importance.

They're casting doubt on the MSM's (or the left part thereof's) heart-wrenching, tear-jerking story! How can they be so cruel!
To: summer
The news media is not stupid. They could report all the facts if they wanted to. They are deliberately distorting this story.

That this is in her Hometown Newspaper could go a long way to showing her for the fool she has freely become. Editorials as this and the letter from her family need to be distributed widely.
It's refreshing to see that not all of the media are leftist morons out to impose their agenda on the nation.

Where is the husband? Is he alive? Why doesn't he want to live with Cindy anymore if he is (obvious question)?

Anti-war activists hope Cindy Sheehan's status as a grieving parent will protect her from criticism.
When you bring that grief into the public sphere, people will comment on it.

This lunatic is the best thing that happened to the Pro-War side of the argument.
I hope she keeps it up, and I hope Michael Moron keeps posing with her in pics.

Could it be because NBC is owned by General Electric, a major defense contractor?"Holy crap, Batman... How far can you go to cook up a conspiracy? One has to really drift pretty far of the posted trail to concoct a theory that the MSM is squashing a story to PROTECT the Republican warmongers.

Cindy Sheehan is rapidly moving from grieving mother of a fallen soldier to lunatic-fringe whiner who is using her dead soldier-son as a prop to get publicity for the anti-war views of the radical left that she has apparently adopted in full. These same people Cindy Sheehan now embraces would have gladly spit on her son had he returned home, alive, from Iraq. Too bad Cindy doesn't seem to realize that.
I believe Cindy Sheehan's grief is real and is driving her increasingly hysterical behavior but I also believe Sheehan is wrongly using her dead son and the usual respect that we all extend to a fallen soldiers mother to manipulate the public and keep a megaphone in place (the anti-war media) for her misdirected hate toward President Bush, while the Bush-haters and anti-war zealots pave the way for her to do so.....until the media gets bored with her act and...dare I say it? Moves on.

There's grieving and then there's media whoring. Does anyone know what her real relationship with her son was? Were they close or did they not get along? Did she mommy him or always have to be in control? Could he have joined the army to get away from her? Has she always been whiny and it's all about me?
