A couple goes on vacation to a fishing resort in Northern Minnesota. The husband likes to fish at the crack of dawn. The wife likes to read.
One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap.
Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out.
She motors out a short distance, anchors and continues to read her book.
Along comes a game warden in his boat. He pulls up
alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"
"Reading a book," she replies. (thinking isn't that obvious?)
"You're in a restricted fishing area" he informs her.
"I'm sorry officer, but I'm not fishing, I'm reading.
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up.
"If you do that, I"ll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the woman.
"But I have not even touched you," says the game warden.
"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment.''
Exxxxcellent....
Did you call Chad Dimock at CDNN Investments, Inc.? 1-800-588-9500

"...Welcome to the fold, troll."
And a big welcome to YOU, as well, to the Undead Thread! Please: Come in and make yourself comfy...we have 24 hour kitchens and fully stocked bars. There is always an extra room for those who need to crash for a while, we have some time before we move again...I'm sure Bob will keep us all informed on that.
;o]
'Face
Suddenly I'm very concerned for my health. ;)
*curtesying*
Thank you, O Imperious Weatherperson...
Whyever would you say that?
The castle is huge, as are the grounds...we have dungeons for the zombies and even a smithy. We make our own beer, wine and whiskey, so we are very health-oriented!
Stick around...you'll come to love it here.
You can relax here...there is no "topic" and almost anything goes. (We're good at paving, too!)
How much for a pint o' the good stuff?
I is thoisty
Just belly up to the bar and name your poison. We all work hard making the place what it is, and we don't charge for the things we use...just enjoy it. And be willing to give us something in return...like an idea, or a suggestion...or help Darksheare train the zombies...or tend to the "moatlings..."
I completely forgot to ask if you needed any help with communications on the ship...LAN, telecom, long distance array?
Hard cider, if you please. If you haven't got that, anything mildly alchoholic will do. I'll need the buzz to maintain a sense of humor.
On this thread, the sense of humor is part of the ambience. We have a lot of fun here, and even discuss "heavy" things! Like getting this castle airborne!
And would you like a sandwich with that cider?
(Bob...we do have some apple trees, do we not? And an apple press?...)
I have somewhat of a green thumb(but that doesn't keep me from growing plants well!). Maybe I could help tend the orchards and gardens.
I thought all castles flew. I hope you didn't void the warranty.
Goddangit, Tom. You did it again.
COOL!
I KNEW you'd fit in! WOO-HOO!
I'm a serial plant killer, so I stay away from green growing things.
Ohyah...we also have an observatory...and a library with hugh fireplace.
The warranty will never be voided as long as we live here...and King Prout even did the design for the space-compound. He's still working on it, but the rough draft looks good.
We're still in the process of hard-wiring the connections through to the secondary habitats, which I had been calling "long-boats."
Y'see, once we heave our bulk into orbit with our Gas-Cooled Nuclear Reactor/Rocket Engines, if we don't have a system of artificial gravity to keep everything in place, well, it just all comes apart!
When we first put this castle together, we intended it to last for a very long time, and it did! All the way to the end of the internet!
Just before we hit the brick wall, however, we implemented a plan involving huge balloons and gargantuan jet engines, to move our real estate to safer quarters. We were getting a little low on essential supplies, so we put down at Loch Ness, and sent our "pick-up" over to the Guiness plant on a beer run.
After leaving there, we began the system of upgrades that would allow us to really travel! To Outer Space!
That required stopping in the Norwegian Sea to pick up a "thrust ring" which encircled the castle enclosure. We travelled on from there to Hawaii, and ultimately arrived at Eniwetok Atoll, where we have been completing the construction and fueling of our GCNR/REs. Whew!
Here in the lovely Western Pacific, we are making the connections to the balancing masses called long-boats, or Habitats Alpha and Beta if you prefer. In addition to the masses, we needed more room for grain fields, hydroponic bays, sheep pens, knitting factories, oh the list is endless -- it's much worse than Noah's ark! He didn't have to worry about providing air!
Anyway, we're still implementing the connections and tubular elevator functions, as well as all the pipelines of various types, and what a spaghetti mess we've got with it! You will be a welcome hand in that process indeed!
Oh yeah, apple trees, apple press, honey production ... all in Habitat A, but if you want to work over there, expect to hear some jargon in Korean. The orchard tender where we bought the trees didn't want to leave them, so we transplanted him and his family, too.
So, no growing wheat, corn, or oats for you, eh?
