All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

War! - huh- yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War! – huh – yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Say it again y’all
War! – huh – good God
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me…

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Yes, how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky ?
Yes, how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry ?
Yes, how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

About to cook dinner. Talked to my grandma today, and my bro and his wife are there. Everybody in the immediate family seems to have weathered the storm well.

"... 1 cent to start, and then double it every day for a year."

Okay, I can do that.

Let's reprise this. You send me $20.

I'll compensate one cent the first day, two cents the second day, and then ... two cents and two cents and two cents and so forth.

That will be 364*2=728, plus one equals $7.29, a clear profit to me of $12.71, ignoring postage.

Go for it. (Yeah, I know about the chessboard, and powers of two and all that, but look carefully at exactly what you said.)

4 oz Steak and stovetop dressing (made without margarine), and a banana and a diet coke.

Hubby had Dryer's Grand Light icecream instead of the banana, and milk instead of coke, and more dressing.

Some of us stayed way up too late watching hurricanes come in and poor Lake Charles get beat up and then got up at 6 to find out what the current news was...

And now I am falling asleep

Yeah, back during the smut troll stupidity, somebody signed up with the handle of Darkshear right after I told cyborg I stood with her.
I discovered the doppleganger by running through new signup numbers at the time.
They were banned right quick without posting, thankfully.

Yes, it is more difficult to FReep with a cat in your lap.
Especially one that "helps" you type.

the bow is all done, save for putting on a couple of coats of polyurethane finish.

lost a couple of arrows in my back yard. shot at a fairly flat angle, the arrows crossed into the bush over 100 feet from where I was standing, still moving right along.

I reckon that's strong enough.
I almost agree with my mother about this bow: it really is rather pretty.

gettin' on time to make the real bow.

Yuppers.

Glad he got the zot.
Wish I'd gotten to square off on him first.

"... a cat in your lap. Especially one that "helps" you type."

In keeping with the discussion about your doppleganger, the above quote made me think this ...

The opposite of the Darksheare effect, massive typographical errors and letter substitutions, would obviously be ...

The Darkshear effect, unintentionally spelling words correctly when you are "just guessing" at them. Thinking of the incorrect spelling, and accidentally mistyping the correct one.

Not to worry. He's gone. I know! Trust me.
