This is the Commission's 4th version this week alone. They're lying.
I call Bull$h!+.
So even if it didn't find any results, the report never mentions the program created to find terrorists in a commission report about finding terrorists?
These commissioners must have real gullible spouses--"No, honey, even though she calls at all hours and hangs up when you answer, and you found some love letters from her, and one of her shoes in my car, I didn't feel the need to mention her because we're just good friends!"
> ... panel staff members have found no documents or
> other witnesses to back up claims ...
Did they make any effort at all to look?
My guess is that they instantly went into cover-up mode
when Atta's name came up.
"Nor do any of the staff notes on documents reviewed in the [Defense Department] reading room indicate that Mohamed Atta or any of the other future hijackers were mentioned in any of those documents
This does not even come close to passing the smell test.
OBTW: Is that the same reading room where Burger was stuffing his pants?
You'll notice they do not deny the charge. They claim they have not found any evidence that the charge is true.
Finding evidence depends on where you look. If one only looks in the living room, one will not find any evidence of what took place in the kitchen.
Psst: The notes are at Sandy Berger's house. Look in his socks drawer.
Like clockwork.
Whenever The Sinkmeister needs cover, the MSM comes to the rescue.
Who has a greater incentive to lie? The officer or the staffers? I think the motive is to lie is with the staffers whose veracity and judgement is now on the line. And if the staffers wanted to cover up Able Danger would they leave behind detailed notes of the meeting?
And for those who asked, Berger took the stuff from the National Archives, not the DoD.
We're supposed to believe this after they spent a week lying about the meetings?
The Washington Compost, which owns NewsWeak, which lied about the Korans being flushed down the toilets, is entering its all out lying mode to protect the Clintoons in this mess.
The NY Slimes and other lying left wing print organizations will raise the same BS. Then, they will be joined this Sunday by the Screaming Heads on ABCNNBCBS.
The lying left wing mediots have to deny these reports and try to make them look right wing spin. If the Clintoons go down on this mess, so do they.
Suggestion to the 9/11 panel: HARAKIRI.
Note that this is the "no evidence of that" meme that begins with the Washington ComPost, which has already been picked up as a "news item" by CNN, which is trumpeting the meme on an hourly basis.
Tomorrow (Sunday), the meme will be regurgitated by the usual talking heads on ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN (and maybe even FOX too, by the token liberals like Juan Williams, et al), and by Monday, the New York Slimes and the LA Rhymes will stick their fingers down their throats in journalistic bulimia, puke everything back up, and announce that a "consensus" appears to be "emerging" that the Able Danger issue was "no issue at all".
They desperately want to bury this one. More so even than Newsweak wanted to bury the Monica story.
LYING GLOBALIST TRAITORS.
GRRRR.
What are the undeniable facts with this whole Able Danger affair? Help me out here:
1) Was there an Able Danger program? Apparently, yes.
2) When did their data mining produce Atta's name as a potential terrorist?
3) Did their mining produce any of the other 9/11 hijackers' names?
4) How many names did the mining produce in total? I'm just wondering if it spewed out thousands of names and was ignored because of that.
5) When did the AB staff try to notify the FBI or CIA or other agency (pre-9/11)?
6) Post 9/11, when did Able Danger become public knowledge?
7) What sort of presentation was made by the AB staff to the 9/11 staff? Was it just one guy saying he saw Atta's name on a presentation pre-9/11?
I guess I want to know more about the issue before condemning the 9/11 Commission. I want there to be some real meat to this issue.
Mike
Well, that settles it......move on.....
?....What's the price of 'pagan' gas today?
