Don't forget "Michael 'Jabba" Moore--porcine propaganda filmmaker, Susan Sarandon--another babbling idiot, Tim Robbins--Susan Sarandon's son, and Jean Francois Kerry--served in Vietnam."

The Left thinks we're like the Chicoms, eh? No one has shut them up! They're free to shout their fevered conspiracy theories all they want but the American people aren't buying them. The last thing Cindy Sheehan is standing up for is freedom. It always has a cost and that's a fact the Left ignores in the post-9/11 world. What's sad is seeing them exploit a grieving mother for their own political advantage.

(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)

Cindy Sheehan is a crackpot media whore who has been brainwashed by the looney left. That is why her family and freinds have all disowned her. The way she disgraces her son's memory is sickening.

This is another manufactured story by the left and the media that will end the same all their other phoney stories have ended...blowing up in their faces. It has already begun and I am enjoying it!!!

Did you see Cavuto interview Raquel Welch yesterday? It was about her visits to Vietnam in support of the troops, with Bob Hope.

He asked her about Jane Fonda, and about Iraq and the current "protestors".

She made your point...the troops go and fight for America, for the Freedom of Speech that we have, especially. Then these people among us turn that Freedom around and use it to harm the very men who are fighting and dying for it.
She said it is an unconscionable thing to do, in her view. She said the Vietnam troops were so aware of what was in the news, and it deeply hurt them. (Then, they came home to taunts, abuse etc., after laying their lives on the line and seeing their buddies die.)

She more than implied that the current situation is putting our troops in the same position, all over again.

Agree. She has disgraced her son and the life he gave for his country.

Wonder what she will do when President Bush leaves the Ranch? Follow him to D.C.?

The Left believes they can make people behave according to their ideology and then there would be no need for war. It's called communism.

"Wonder what she will do when President Bush leaves the Ranch? Follow him to D.C.?"

Originally she said she would go home once Bush left Crawford. But now it appears her radical left terrorist supporting friends talked her into moving on to D.C.. Per an earlier thread:

Showdown in Texas (Olbermann-Sheehan interview)!
MSNBC ^ | Aug. 12, 2005

Posted on 08/12/2005 8:39:19 PM PDT by Ooh-Ah

OLBERMANN: The nature of the media coverage you're getting now, the response from other families of soldiers killed in Iraq, all of that, from the perspective of your protest there, in a way, isn't it really better if President Bush doesn't meet with you?

SHEEHAN: I would think so, yes. I think it's great. And if he would come out right now, it would really defuse the momentum, and I don't want to give them any hints. And I think that's something they've probably already thought about.

But, you know, but we're here. We're committed. We're staying the whole month of August, and then we're moving to Washington, D.C. And we're going to have a 24-hour vigil on his front lawn to keep the pressure on. The pressure is there. Sixty-two percent of Americans want our troops home. And this is giving them a voice to stand up and be counted and say, You know, we want our country back, and we want our troops home.

The sad part of it is that, as I learned in college during the Viet Nam War, a substantial portion of even the rabid antiwar types -- my guess is 20 to 35% -- were fundamentally pro-war and anticommunist but became disaffected because of the sense that Viet Nam was a no-win proposition. "I wanted the US to win, but we were not serious about winning" was one account, endorsed by a half-dozen antiwar types at the table.

The Bush administration is astoundingly mumble mouthed and inept about explaining the Iraq War and providing a sense of strategy, effort, and progress toward victory. The 'building schools' 'establishing democracy' and 'women voting' explanation for being in Iraq is awful thin as a basis for American casualties.

If nothing else, there ought to be more bombing strikes, more dead terrorists, and more flattened targets. Wars are won by killing enemies and justified by the necessity of doing so, not by explanations that make the effort sound like international social work backed by guns to coerce the unwilling.

I'm sure the same thing has been said about every war.

We WON Vietnam and then let it go because we pulled out.

Ms Sheehan would have this become another Vietnam.

1st Cav troops pay tribute to seven fellow soldiers - must read for those following Sheehan circus***“Specialist Sheehan,” the first sergeant called. No one answered.

“Specialist Sheehan!” the sergeant called again, louder this time.

“Specialist Casey Sheehan!” the sergeant cried out a third and final time.

As 500 soldiers listened, only the sound of the Apache helicopters overhead could be heard.

Like the six other soldiers memorialized Saturday under a blazing Baghdad sun, and whose names were called during the traditional roll call at the service, Sheehan was killed in a firefight April 4……………..***
