I am stressed. I take my music VERY seriously and am a olddies FANATIC!! But it's no big deal, I love your list even though Angel Baby by Rosie and the Originals was made in 1960 and not 1974...:-)

Ah, gone to get their ears lowered, huh? They'll look really good when they get home!
Yes, a good Saturday is when I either don't have to work or when I get off early--a little gift to me! :o)
Is it still scorching there in AZ or has it begun to cool down?

The beetles are such a hassle, Bummer. This is the first year that I didn't have to fight them. I go out and squish them. I use to be so skirmish before I gardened. I think since it's been so dry here they haven't been so bad.
Phil Hartman as Clinton was too funny! I loved the skit where he is in his white tee shirt beaten up. The cops come for domestic disturbance....again. Hillary is hiding in closet. It was implied, Troopers were the same ones who had to keep secrets. I think, they were told not to ever show it again. I have see the best of Phil Hartman and other replays and I have never seen it again. It was hysterical. I had it on tape but I lost it.

Hi AZ! *HUGZ*
Yep, there were a lot of cool bands playing in Raleigh and Chapel Hill clubs back in those days. Everything from local bands to international recording acts. I worked in three clubs during the 14 years I lived there.
Some of the bands I saw on their way up the ladder to stardom were R.E.M., Hootie and the Blowfish, Cowboy Mouth, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Living Color, Cheryl Crow, just to name a few. There are more but it's been a while since I left Raleigh and the ol' pea brain is sluggish today. Durn CRS. LOL!
My back's doing a little better today but I still have to get up and walk around a bit. It still makes my leg go numb to sit for more than a few minutes at a time.
I guess I should attempt something constructive......like cleaning the house. LOL! It hasn't had more than a lick-and-a-promise all week.
I leave the Troops and the Canteeners in great hands. You and all the other Canteen DJs have the place hoppin'! WOOHOO!!

Actually we had another storm yesterday that really cooled things down. It's only 93 degrees with 28% humidity. Not bad at all!

Had bunnies nibble a bush to death, was ticked over that for a good due amount of time.
Thankfully, it wasn't one of MY bushes, just one I take care of once in awhile.
But still..

Naw--that's a great temp, Connie! The lower humidity makes it liveable! As you can see, we're cooler, too, but our humidity is "up" to 43%....making my hair a little bushy! LOL!

I've been looking for the perfect yellow as you describe. I almost bought one but wasn't sure it would do well here. I'm picky when it comes to yellows and the best are not too hardy in my climate. The best I can do for you, until next season,is this one. One of my favorites, Garden Party. :)
