Of course, Asimov is known mostly for his science fiction. Though with more than 200 books published, he covered a lot of subjects. However, exactly as I say in my article, the best of science fiction is solidly grounded in science. No
faux pas here.

Large faux pas...Asimov is known by most as a Science Fiction writer. Maybe to you, but to me he's more well known as a popularizer of science. His 3 volume series "Understanding Physics " taught me more physics than my high school physics course (and I had good teacher in a good school). They also made the concepts from my college physics courses familiar, I only had to learn the math.
