”Nixon.

Similar domestic policies to LBJ's and almost as dishonest as WJC.

Nixon ‘almost’ as dishonest as Clinton? I cannot think of any leader in all of world history that sold out his country to a potential enemy as Clinton did. Giving your countries highest level of secret information to a potential enemy for campaign contributions… I am still to this day in shock and aww over that.

Good afternoon.
My vote would be for FDR because he laid the groundwork for the positioning of communists in places of power and influence in our society. Those people trained the ones that trained the ones who are trying to destroy our culture today.

If we have to go to war with China, or are hit badly by the Islamist head choppers, I will change my vote to a tie between bill clinton and Jimmuh Cahtuh.

Carter. I just cannot stand him.

Lincoln. Destroyed federalism.

Wilson. Do-gooder internationalist.

FDR, LBJ, JFK, Carter, Buchanan and Clinton--so many choices! But I have to put Clinton at the very top of the list of worst presidents ever. Just think, who gave away our greatest secrets to the Chicoms, helped the North Koreans build their A bombs and totally screwed up our military, lost troops in Somalia and Bosnia and for sure helped the Islamo terrorists kill 3000 Americans? Who made the White House into a bordello and then lied about it to the public? (JFK was a worse sexual predator and nearly got us fried by the Ruskies, but the media protected him and still does). Who was the second US prez to be impeached (but not convicted thanks to the RAT sinators)? Clinton gets my heavy vote for being the most despicable of all! Please note that all of the worst were RATs.

Carter and Clinton aren't even in the bottom 10.

Back to your American History book.

Nixon does not fit on that list, IMHO. Please read "The Patriot's History of the US." I learned more in that book about Tricky Dick that helped absolve him of most of the sins attributed to him.

Good afternoon.
"Before he had been in office a month, he caught a cold that developed into pneumonia. On April 4, 1841, he died--the first President to die in office..."

I've long named him our best President for the very same reason.

"Reagan was actually a pushover on immigration issues, witness the 1986 Amnesty."

Reagan would have changed his mind post 9/11

Clinton was the worst person, who ever was president.

Carter was the most incompetent president. However, we are mostly healed from his damage. Remember the "Double Nickel"?

LBJ on the other hand was competent. Therefore the bad things he did, he did on purpose. He was the one who brought us both the Viet Nam war and the "War" on poverty.

"But he did it with such incompetence that he empowered the Radicals far more."

I think they would have been empowered no matter what, remember, these people were absolutely crazy. Most of the ones who came down here were abject oppurtunists, and they were just gleefully cheered on by Washington.

If Johnson had been the most articulate man on the planet, he wouldn't have been able to do any good, because the radicals were absolutely intent on remaking the South to fit their desires. I will say though that attending that inauguration drunk (if it is true) was a bad decision on Johnson's part.

Which Johnson?

Yeah, please specify. Do you mean the Johnson that penetrated Doris Kearns Goodwin, got the black voter's pecker in his pocket for decades, and taught Bill Moyers how to lie, cheat and steal in the name of Socialism, or the earlier Johnson, first prez to be impeached?

In my lifetime it would have to be FDR, the bringer of socialism to America. After him it's Carter without a doubt -- the America-loathing enabler of Communism and Islamofascism. But it's hard to determine the long-range effects of Clinton's failure to block Osama when he could, and his administration's leakage of military secrets to the Red Chinese. Those things may have worse long-term effects than Carter's cluelessness. They all have one thing in common: they're Democrats.

Carter by a mile. For remember, Klinton gave us a Republican House and Senate - which at long last is now leading to a sane Supreme Court - and majority of governorships and state legislatures.

Clinton, Carter & Johnson - the South can be vengeful

"Carter because Clinton didn't do much to screw up a booming economy but Carter would have found a way."

I have to disagree. The only reason Clinton didn't move us merrily to the socialist left is because of a Republican majority in the House.

Clinton. He gutted US intelligence. He slashed our budgets to the bone and mandated that we cut all assets with any human rights baggage. We lost 80% of our HUMINT in a single day. Around the world. Most of the best sources. We went from thorough penetration of the area I was working in to having no reporting whatsoever. None. In a day.

His administration also had the Agency looking for major polluters around the world as one of his top 5 intelligence targets. Bloody criminal moron. He is directly responsible for 9/11. Oh, did I mention the many credible accusations of rape? Draft dodging, opportunistic scum.

Clinton.
