Actually it's an improvement over the Silent Majority of the Vietna era, when the anti-american leftist fellow travelers had the field pretty much to themselves.
Not exclusively of course, I do remember something about Hardhats verse Hippies. The Hippies didn't turn out too well, except in the press of course, where the became the "victims".

The only thing we have come to, is the realization that the demonstrators of the 60's and 70's and the MSM cannot control the news/debate/agenda any longer.
Payback is long overdue for their actions.
