I hate to say it, but I read this even before I was in the Academy. The only crying I've done so far was when a fellow recruit hit me in my, ahem, special spot druing DT.
I'm sure I'll be crying someday, most likely over having to work yet another traffic accident.

I kind of liked the perspective behind the story which I'm assuming has been embellished on a tad. First time I saw it. I absolutely loathe scenes with dead children. No surprise. I don't know how ME's can do what they do.
