When were the Frank Church committee hearings? That's when this business of separating the FBI from the CIA, etc. got it's start. They didn't want the CIA spying on Americans like the KGB was doing Soviet Citizens!

This was either during Gerald Ford's short stint, or during the miserable term of Carter in response to what Dems thought were excesses by the evil Nixon administration!!!

However, this Gorelick thing was another whole different degree of this that sprang out of the excesses of the Clinton administration at WACO, and maybe even OKC that was in response to WACO!!!

Gorelick should & can be sued civilly for gross dereliction of duty, for contributory negligence and culpability in 3,000 deaths (& counting), and for gross negligence as the DOJ "Wall of Separation" memo author, which greatly & unconscionably expanded the "letter of the law" to, in effect, protect spies and terrorists.
