"you called me Cindy, so I naturally assume we are on a first name basis."

Didn't she say that Pres. Bush called her 'Mom' at that meeting? She said he didn't even know who she was so didn't use her name. Am I thinking right or am I confused?

Once again, another contradiction:

Sheehan said the June 2004 private meeting with the President went from bad to worse to a nightmare when Bush acted like he didn’t even want to know her name. She said Bush kept referring to her as ‘Ma’ or ‘Mom’ while he "put on a phony act," saying things like ‘Mom, I can’t even imagine losing a loved one, a mother or a father or a sister or a brother.’

Go back and read the very opening of the letter. She CLAIMS to be answering a letter of condolence that she received from President Bush, in which she says he called her Cindy.

If true, this was more likely an official letter sent to each of the families of those KIA in Iraq, rather than a single, personal letter to Cindy, don't you think?. If her name were in there as "Cindy", that sounds a bit odd to me, why not Mrs. Sheehan?

That said, the point I make is that her letter refers to a letter from him in which she claims he called her "Cindy". It does not refer to when they met in person and she claims he did not seem to know her name.

Really, the woman is as sick as a sick hound dog. She is also extremely, extremely childish and immature. As is the Left; they are all like classic cases of arrested development.

And some of them are dangerous. I hope the Secret Service is on the case.
