Wouldn't it be better to have spent the money they are throwing at the lawyer and hire five or six Ramirezes?

Surely no patriotic attorney with respect for the law (snort giggle) would stoop to defending (hahaha) an obvious criminal (heh heh) when the prospect of winning would set a bad precedent (haw haw) for the nation's interest...
