NEW YORK — The Rolling Stones' upcoming album contains a song seemingly critical of President Bush (search), but Mick Jagger denies it's directed at him, according to the syndicated TV show "Extra."

"It is not really aimed at anyone," Jagger said on the entertainment-news show's Wednesday edition. "It's not aimed, personally aimed, at President Bush. It wouldn't be called 'Sweet Neo Con' if it was."

This is my first post. Hope I did it right. Jagger is a fugly old woman. I feel guilty I used to like the Stones 30 years ago.

I think maybe the Stones are actually making fun of the liberals.

the major song in question does refer to a sweet neo con running an illegal war. come on, we arent stupid. this album, just like most others, is a bash Bush fest. And maybe the thing i like best about W is that he doesnt give a sh*t. He does what he knows is right and doesnt listen to the hollywood "intellectuals"

Listen to Satisfaction. 40 years later you can still understand it (if you decipher the lyrics, that is.) In 20 years who'll know what 'neo-con' means?! Dumb, dumb move.

Hey, don't insult old women!

According to the Fox & Friends poll this morning all but one of the 500-something replies agreed Jagger aimed it at W and that the NFL and ABC should cancel his contract.

I've had to skip the intro to Monday Night Football for years now, continuing the practice shall be effortless.

In response to Mick's lyrics, beckon the words of Jack Nicholson as the Joker when he refers to Boss Grissom.......i.e. Jagger...."he's a tired old man."

A real man would have the B-lls to admit that he is anti Bush. I guess in my opinion he isn't a real one...just something sweet.......gross......

He actually played a role of an old woman in an English movie. Saw it somewhere on T.V a few years ago. Didn't mean to insult any old women. Old Mick is up there with Helen Thom-as.

Yesterday I said Jones' comments were rather tame compared to others. Today I'm changing that to state that I think he's an idiot. There's nobody else he could be talking about than Bush, Cheney and the Bush administration.

We all know why Mick is here. He doesn't want to pay taxes in England.

Evidently, when they released the new album for pre-release publicity, this song was conveniently left of the promo.

Stick a fork in Mick, the party's over.

Jagger's paid more to the IRS than you would in 100 lifetimes. He can say whatever he pleases.

We need to write and tell AC/DC to tour on the same dates as the Stones. Is it true Brian Johnson is a Freeper?

When we were kids - I'm in my early forty's - these guys and their ilk ruled the world; we were in awe of them.

Now, it's hilarious that they're older but not wiser; that their contributions (admittedly, some strong pop music) pales to the classics of Mozart, Shakespeare, and, hey, even Rod Serling...yet still they act as if every day was the day after the Beatles appeared on Ed Sullivan.
