ha ha, no, I'm so far on the 'outside' it hurts (I can have all kinds of ideas of what should be done but not the slightest influence on anything or anyone). I started lurking for a few weeks late that summer, and it was pure coincidence that I signed up the week before 9/11 -- but that time period helped to get me 'hooked' since I found much better info and analysis on FREEREPUBLIC than with any of the MSM....
