But if he is head of a 'homeowner's association' that means the pool belonged to the homes development and was not a public pool anyway.
There's something fishy in this story.
The something fishy is that the property is not a resort but a bunch of condos. The owners of some lease their units out through leasing agents, not Baytree. The other units are occupied by residents as in a residential neighborhood. The shock of 117 new party animals into the neighborhood may have prompted more than a few complaints from the existing residents. Baytree settled after winning the initial court decision ( I am assuming this because the family filed an appeal
here ) probably to avoid further mischaracterizations in the press.
