Here's another thought.

Perhaps only people who have passed a State's bar exam should be permitted to vote in Congressional elections. Or better yet, no one who hasn't commanded at least a Brigade, been a CEO of a publicly traded company or held SES rank in the Federal Government should enjoy the right to vote on who gets to be President. If these ideas sound stupid, so does the idea that only people who wear the uniform can speak for the soldiers.

I agree. As I mentioned on another thread, my grandmother lost a son (my uncle, who I never met) in WWII, and she never took up with the enemy because of it. This woman chose to do what she did. I have no sympathy for her at all--she nullified any sympathy I'd normally have for a lost son or daughter when she joined with this country's enemies.
