Actually the Bush administration has been very good to Venezuela. But don't let the facts stop you from throwing your boring insults at people who disagree with communism and the way "free trade" makes it profitable.

the US government has been giving permits to American arms dealers to sell weapons, tear gas, and other riot-control equipment to Venezuela.

"You gotta hand it to Fidel - he's been fooling all of South America for over 40 years now."

Importing a populace that lionizes Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez, and demonizes Augusto Pinochet is good for America how? I recall a recent soccer game in Guadalajara where the crowd cheered their support of Osama Bin Laden. Coming soon to you, more Osama Bin Laden fans thanks to the open borders treason lobby.

It is not just the jobs that "We Americans" wont do as in "crop pickers", they are in every aspect of construction! From plumbing, electrical, roofing, carpenter, painting, concrete work, there is no field that I (for over 25 years) haven't seen them take over. So saying that they are doing the jobs that "We Americans" wont do is a FALSE statement!...: ) <<< me

Here's an interesting Free Republic thread that covered this subject:

Study counters beliefs about illegal immigrants (Only 3 percent work in agriculture)

Tell me that those Republican politicians pushing this political and cultural daisy cutter bomb are at least doing so based on a sincerely held but misguided belief...

Maybe some are but the vast majority imo just want cheap labor and are willing to use religion and compassion as one tug at the heartstrings ploy to get it. Whatever it takes.

There are still exports going on despite the fact that we know that Chavez is a dangerous communist. How convenient that you leave that out. If you have a beef with the content complain to the author.

There are still exports going on despite the fact that we know that Chavez is a dangerous communist.

And those exports have been going down dramatically since 2003.

Thems the facts, sorry you can't refute them.

Like I said, what will you contribute but insults.

Who's angry? Not I. I like the water in the pan lukewarm, don't you. ;-)

I'm not married to any party (currently registered as an R, but will go back to Independent for the next General) tho I have voted for Rs most if not every election since 1972. But my vote doesn't count to you, does it?

In the end, we all stand to lose what is most precious to us all. God forbid anyone voice concerns as the pot starts to boil..

As I said in my first post, let the Bushbackers begin. The "vote Republican at all cost" crowd, who , rather than engage in intelligent conversation/making points, just hurl personal insults. I've been registered as a Repub since about 1993 (the Kilintons converted me), but....if the Republican party , now infested with RHINOS, continues to persue its present course, I'm going Libertarian. Guess they don't have to worry about my vote, according to some FR members. Fine, so be it. Because they won't get it.

He used a company that employed hispanics to hang drywall in his gameroom.

Thank you for reminding everybody that tom tancredo is in bed with communist hugo chavez about CAFTA.

If anyone opposes your view they're in bed with a Communist who opposes it for entirely different reasons? What a ridiculous inference. But your goal is to create an association with sovereign US citizens and communists in the minds of some, so this lie gets posted frequently.

"Actually the Bush administration has been very good to Venezuela."

Oil at 65 dollars a barrel is great for Hugo Chavez, and the Iranian Ayatollahs and the House of Saud. Thanks to demand from China, with the dollars she earns from her trade surplus with America.
