Maybe they can encourage illegal gays to sneak into the country so they can really be "The Church of What's Happenin' Now" (credit: Flip Wilson).

I've known some lutheran ministers who've said ELCA should just remove the L from it's name since it has almost nothing to do with the Lutheran religion.

Rampant liberal social activism is one of the things that turned me off from the catholic church. Looks like ELCA is following suit to alienate as many Lutherans as possible.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America is expected to adopt a resolution this week promising to work for immigration reforms in the United States, becoming the latest religious denomination to boost its efforts to advocate for immigrants and refugees.

This church needs to register as a lobbyist then and kiss its tax-exempt status goodbye.

Lots of different denominations are illegally enabling illegal immigration.
I don't care which religious or secular organizations are involved in it, I want them all prosecuted, stopped and punished.
Along with the any and all private entities that employ or otherwise enable illegals.
This country is closer to anarchy than most people seem to comprehend.

What the hell has happened to my church?

Since when does a Cardinal speak for Lutherans?

Quisling: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.

I was a session member in the Presbyterian Church. Most of the do-gooders were clueless. They did not understand cause-and-effect. Then the Session hired a minister that promoted homosexuality. The Church lost all of its members and is now defunct.

What's wrong with these Lutherans? Were they also part of the National Council of Churches that decades ago supported Marxist terrorists in Africa? They will lose membership and credibility.
