Is anybody else suspicious of this whole thing?
Curt Weldon has a new book out, and on tour during the break, and reveals this blockbuster info. The whole thing smells like a PR stunt to me.
On amazon right now:

MIDI - LAST KISS
Embarrassing, well to say the least...the right wing would have quite a feast
Bill Clinton was warned of the al Qaeda cells
He kept it secret from the Bush team and said, "Oh, what the hell"
Ashcroft had testified info wasn't shared...it's time for Clinton to be scared
He knew the truth...danger's great
But he's too busy, he had a date
When it's found out, people won't let it lie
Hillary, kiss your butt goodbye
They are to blame that we were hit
Those lying scum are full of it
Oh where oh where have the papers gone
Bill chose Berger, the choice was wrong
And just like terrorists they caught him by chance
Some agents had looked over as he's stuffing them down his pants
As the truth comes out, some will turn up the heat
Bush's team sees this as such a treat
Subterfuge from evil DemocRATS
It's no wonder that they're called sewer rats
Bill's lost his mind and screams under duress
"Monica, don't get it on your dress!"
Poor Sandy thinks there may be danger near
He's trembling as he says, "I'm out of here"
A coverup...will he join Bill for the ride
He says he'll be no Arkancide
Oh where oh where have the papers gone
Bill chose Berger, the choice was wrong
And just like terrorists they caught him by chance
Some agents had looked over as he's stuffing them down his pants
Did his package grow? What is in his pants?
I think we'd like to know...Sandy, time to dance

More serious than Watergate, this one was tampering with evidence and intelligence relating to 9/11, whereas in the Nixon scandal no one was killed.
How much jail time are Clinton and cronie looking at?
To: dila813
"Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said he was unaware of the intelligence until the latest reports surfaced." Understandable, given Rummy wasn't SecDef at the time. But what about Clintoon's SecDef, what does he have to say? Should we expect "Cohen could not be reached for comment"? Did the reporter even bother to ask or did they think the Rummy statement would give the impression that it was Bush's Fault TM What did Richard Clarke know and when did he know It? Sandy Burglar? Did Gorelick squash that line of inquiry knowing that her policy enabled Atta to succeed? What do the Jersey Girls have to say?

Lee Hamilton, co-chairman of the now-disbanded commission, said Tuesday that members of the panel could issue a statement by the end of the week after reviewing claims that officials had identified ringleader Mohamed Atta and three other hijackers.Sorry Lee, you screwed it up once, I don't think that you should have a second chance! How about we nominate a handful of Freepers to follow up on this new development???????

Time to suppoena Sandy Berger's underpants.

The laughingstock "9/11 Commission" wants to get its fingers into this new stuff for the sole purpose of protecting Clinton. The commission's term has expired - - now I wish they would just go away.

The lawyers in question just made a little legal mistake. And of course, just because it appeared to be an Al Qaida terrorist cell operating out of beautiful downtown Brooklyn is irrelevant. Maybe they thought it was the Brooklyn in The Netherlands. So many Brooklyns, so little time. We must uphold the law, however errantly we apply it. The memo that the law is not a suicide pact apparently didn't work its way through channels. We must move on.

At some point, information provided to the team by the Army's Information Dominance Center pointed to a possible al-Qaida cell in Brooklyn, the documents said Ok, so Able Danger got the info from the Army's "Information Dominance Center" (never heard of it before).
But, here is a webpage tidbit about it: Click
If this is true, then NSA knew about this too. Not much of a stretch to think Clinton knew about it then.

I want to know why the Commission did not tell us about this until now.
To: dila813
What's funny is they never asked why Jaime Gorelick was nominated to sit on the commission in the first place. It was her "wall" memo that kept our government agencies from putting two and two together and learning Mohammed Atta was the ringleader of an Al Qaeda terrorist cell in this country. And they're now shocked it was her policy that led to 9/11? Spare me, please!
