Why do you want them to testify under oath? It's called a perjury trap. You get the liars under oath, grill them, then compare their lying testimony to prior statements. Then you question them about their inconsistencies. Once you have the perjury sword over their heads they are more likely to rat out their boss to cut a deal.

I would be willing to bet that Sandy Berger's documents were the ones that address this issue. Now some have conveniently gone missing.

So, why have them put under oath? To me our government has become nothing more than a den of thieves. All or most are crooked. They know where each others skeletons are hidden and have to protect each other. One can not be put on trial because he might have his enemies transgressions exposed to the public. I do not know the answer. This whole mess saddens me.

"As their bodies were being removed from the wreckage last year, 10 Islamic men knelt nearby and raised and lowered their arms in prayer."
That quote is from an article I found on this subject. My hunch is that potential investors or just bin Laden himself wanted a small demonstration of the seriousness of the terror cell. This demonstration would also serve to bring trust and loyalty amongst the cell members.
It is interesting that this pilot had a Philippines flying license. I think that is where the plan originated for a massive midair collision terrorist plot.

Ah lovely! The Clinton mantra. Anytime bad info is coming out, it's all about someone making money on a book, or my favorite defense that I've seen on the threads today......"The timing is suspicious".
It ain't gonna work this time.

Weldon was just on Fox and really hot.
He was Confused about "Special Forces" and "Special Operations", though. "Special Forces" are "the Green Berets" and their direct support people. "Special Ops" is Special Forces, +SEALS, + the Rangers, + DELTA, +82nd Airborne Division, +160th Aviation + associated intelligence units.

"Sorry Lee, you screwed it up once, I don't think that you should have a second chance!" Exactly. These unprofessional politicos clowning around on Saturday Night Live and yukking it up during the investigation turned my stomach.

"But this is the first one that shows it was 1999 not 2000! Does it make a difference? Who was President during the entire year 2000?
Here's a hint: George Bush was sworn in at high noon on January 20th, 2001.

"Typical was coverage in the Los Angeles Times, which chronicled the efforts of a frustrated CIA agent who desperately tried to warn the FBI that Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar had migrated to San Diego after attending an Al Qaeda planning session in Malaysia 20 months before the 9/11 attacks. " Why has there been so very little curiousity in the press about that Kuala Lumpur meeting? 99% of the public never even heard of the planning session. Is it because Hikmat Shakir, of Saddam's intelligence, was there , and talking about it would distract the press from the "Bush Screwed Up" theme? Hmmm?

"I would be willing to bet that Sandy Berger's documents were the ones that address this issue. Now some have conveniently gone missing." Unfortunately, neither the Legacy Press, nor the Republican Congress, nor the Republican administration care about what Berger was up to. Elephants can cover up and distract as well as Donkeys......maybe better.

How about the House Committee on Homeland Security, of which Weldon is vice-chair?

Yes, they can. I despair of ever being told the full truth from either side.

It was strange. Breitweiser wasn't spewing the old talking points as usual. It was kind of lame. She did say those people who didn't forward the Atta information deserve to be fired. She mentioned it twice in the interview. She was nonspecific as to which people as all roads lead to Clinton and his minions. Cavuto didn't press her.
If this was her first appearance, she wouldn't ever be invited back on any other show as it wasn't even interesting. It was dull, just sounded like background noise

Here's a hint: George Bush was sworn in at high noon on January 20th, 2001. That can't be stressed enough. I have come across quite a few people who are confused by this. They are focusing on 2000 because of the election.

I battle the DOJ on a daily basis. What they decide to prosecute and what they decide to go light on frustrates me. Sandy should be locked up for what he did.
