What happened with the last "election" has made me seriously look at Idaho as a future home. Now if I could only get my family on board.

Yeah, well, I moved to the peninsula (Olympic) to get away from Seattle's limousine liberals, but they're here and not only running up real estate prices, but also running Clallam County. Go figure.

It's terrible isn't it? Traffic is an absolute joke around here. It's always been bad because of the commuters. But now, it starts early in the morning and is bumper to bumper all day.

Fortunately I don't have to join them. I cross the line of cars on my way to run my local errands and see the endless stream of sourpuss scowls as they crawl along, paying high gas prices then waiting in line for hours to get a ferry, which ain't cheap and is getting more expensive.

They may save a little on a house, but they pay for it in so many other ways.
