Weldon was just on Mark Levin's show. Said news tomorrow is 9-11 Commission is flip flopping on being briefed on Able Danger and Atta, now admitting it (apparently staffers did not want to go under oath against patriot agents). Sandy Bergler mentioned too, but just speculation. Also said info came from an "open source", i.e., NOT prohibitted by Gorelick Wall. It appears that the assumption is staffers did not report to Commission members. Methinks not to all but to some and Ben Veniste and Gorelick nixed it. This one may have some legs and reveal the truth. Weldon sounds like he is just getting started. Here's hoping hearings follow...

I love the liberal bumper sticker that say"when clinton lied no one died". I just say to them oh what about the 3000+ on 9/11 now i can really rub it in.. More of the BJs legacy.

Note to all the lurkers from DU still trying to spin the Karl Rove/Valerie Plame thing: THIS is what a real political scandal looks like. Too bad you're on the wrong side of it, as usual.

As much as it is nice that this gets air time, I believe that even IF the Gorelick Wall had NOT been in place, it was still a long shot that the attack would have been averted.
I think the BIG mistake in the past was when the Senate Liberals emasculated the foreign service by severely limiting the use of "tainted" informants.

So, the 9-11 Commission just rushed through the proceedings to get it done before the election. This info wouldn't hurt Bush, so it wasn't deemed necessary. It could embarrass some commission members though (wink, wink)

Wow. This is bigger than I imagined..thank you for posting the entire piece. The level of detail is extraordinary. Thank goodness for Curt Weldon (my district) that has the cojones to not let up on this. Well done Congressman!

"Who within the administration in 2000 was responsible for those actions? This body and the American people need to know."
But the American people will never find out. Corrupt powers are still at work in league with the msm who will remain silent on this one.

Had a chance to ask folks in the office if they follow current events, world news etc., and across the board they said no. Out of curiosity I put this story in front of them and they were shocked. It goes to show how pathetic the people are monitoring critical events happening around them.
BTW, the 911 Commission should be jailed.

Excellant Ernest. It is interesting to see they are not going to let things rest. At least it appears the issues at hand are not going to go away. Clearly, at least to me I see why old slick Ben was on the committee. What the hell as others ask, would be the reason to have a slick willy lawyer involved in that 9/11 committee farse, but to keep a very carefull eye and ear on what was going down. And the damn Republicans let them pull off a public cover up. Interestingly a lot of the basic stuff was covered by Shawn and Rush way back when. So it is not like this is exactly new stuff. But I am glad you posted it. Perhaps we shall see more develop in the days to come. Now if this stuff continues and deepens, is this going to be pushed onto the current administration as being the ones at fault. After all 9/11 happened on their watch, at least in the eyes of the L/MSM in how they start doing their spin?

I'm getting Savage delayed on www2.krla870.com/listen/.
He's making more sense of this than any of the others including Rush. Flame away but listen first!

I had my Chief of Staff call the 9/11 Commission staff and ask the question: Why did you not mention Able Danger in your report? The Deputy Chief of Staff said, well, we looked at it, but we did not want to go down that direction.
We did not want to go down that direction? We did not want to go down that direction?!?!?!? The 9/11 commission was made into another coverup for Bill Clinton by Gore-lick, Hamilton, and Ben Veniste.
