I think the ten commandants drive them crazy - as to follow them means the end to socialism...

ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.' (There goes - I am my own God mentality)

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.' (like the nanny state)

THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'

FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.' (not daddy and his boyfriend)

SIX: 'You shall not murder.' (including abortion)

SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.' (hello Clinton)

EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.' (that even means voting for the government to steal from your neighbor to support socialism)

NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.' (the ends justify the means to any liberal - and it doesn't matter what scientific or historical fact they have to revise to do it)

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbour's house; you shall not covet your neighbour's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbour's.' (THE KEY, socialism is coveting what others have...do it for the children)

Actually, I think it actually all boils down to one reason the Libs hate the bible. Sometimes the answer is NO.

I loved it! I am not a religious person in any sense of the word. But the bible is a very good guide for living, especially the ten commandments. If it was good enough to influence the founding fathers it is good enough today. The only thing that makes me roll my eyes is when someone insists to me that the bible is the literal word of God. NAW....but it is a very good read.

The main thing that drives the left crazy about the Bible is that it is the truth and light that shines on the darkness of their lives. It shows them that there are consequences for their attitudes and behavior which they just can't bring themselves to believe. It is just denial on their part.
