CLEARWATER - Michael Schiavo has asked a court to waive the two-year statute of limitations on filing a medical malpractice lawsuit against one or more of his deceased wife's caregivers.
Terri Schiavo, 41, died March 31 after her feeding tube was removed after a seven-year court battle.
Schiavo's attorney in this case, Mark Perenich, said he was not able to discuss the proposed lawsuit behind Tuesday's request for an extension of the two-year statute of limitations.
By law, medical malpractice lawsuits must be filed within two years of the alleged misconduct unless an extension is granted.
In October 2003, Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed on court order. Doctors reinserted it on orders from Gov. Jeb Bush.

Where, in Scripture, does it say that it is God's will that an innocent life shall be taken? That murder, via starvation and dehydration, are His will? that human beings are free to commit murders of convenience?

Where, in Scripture, does it say that one must FIRST be PERFECT, in all areas of their lives, to do God's work?
You are addressing how God would wish for Christians/believers to act, for behaviors upon which they are to strive to attain. Where in Scripture does it say ALL these behaviors will occur upon one's acceptance of Christ as their Savior? Where in Scripture does it say that until ALL these behaviors are attained, that God will not use the believer?
Where does God defend IMMORAL ACTS, as you have and do?

It's true that fewer and fewer people agree with the decision to kill Terri. It would appear that most of the people who supported killing her were simply misinformed. They thought she was already dead, that she had previously stated she wouldn't want to be fed through a tube, that she was hooked up to artificial life support, that her body was being forced to function by machines, etc... Only a handful of people who supported killing her actually knew all along that it was murder. Those people's minds can't be changed by providing facts. They already know the facts, but choose to support murder anyway. I'm sure they have their reasons.
I still see Juan's "dear in the headlights" look that he gave Brit Hume the whole time Brit TRIED to explain to him why it was WRONG to kill Terri.
It was classic. Stuart Smalley would've been proud of Juan...except Stuart would've told Juan to look in the mirror, give his Vacant Look, and then tell him to say to himself, "and doggone it, people like me." LOL.

Who's in it for the money now? Money-grubbing was the charge that the MSM lobbied against Terri's parents, and it turned many in the public against the fight to save Terri's life.
I was amazed that some people bought the lie that Terri's parents only cared about the money, and her estranged husband only cared about her. Even on the face, that's preposterous. When you consider the fact that her family wanted her to live, and her estranged husband wanted her to die, the lie becomes even more unbelievable. Then you dig a little deeper, and find that her family wanted to take care of her at their own expense, and her estranged husband wanted to kill her and keep her money. Who is stupid enough to believe such an outrageous lie, when faced with any of these facts?
